I live in the city of philadelphia and we currently have a murder rate of about 3 a days. So they are always saying if you see something please call. I saw something over the weekend and called and nobody ever came. My neighobr told me on thursday he saw a man standing on the corner with a gun so he called the cops and nobody ever came. Is it just me or do they want us to kill ourselves off so they don't have to work?

Setting a deadline is endangering the troops when it is Bush being obstinate by refusing to even discuss a pullout at all? All we democrats heard for the longest time was "the dems have no plan". Now you have one and Bush won't talk about it even when it follows his own plan for the Surge with his own criteria? The democrats gave but Bush didn't. We now have to force Bush to end the war as so plainly and clearly the democrats were voted in for. The blame falls squarely on Bush for any consequences due to his refusal to compromise. The voters are watching.

Several countries have said that they woud apprehend him and put him on trial should he ever enter their country. Is this who we want our president leaning to for advice. Further he is like a 105 and has very little of his facilities.

I have to do a 3 minute "mock" teaching of the Miranda Warnings. It doesn't matter which direction I come to it from (legal, law enforcement, K-9 Handler, history) just as long as Miranda Warnings is my subject. Visual handouts will dramatically increase my grade. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

How come stupid democrats are always insulting Southerners
calling them stupid and illiterate but are championing the cause of Hillary who is a stupid, illiterate southerner?

So Hillary, being a snake, has forsaken her roots and is repackaging herself as a sophisticated New Yorker?

Is not Hillary a Green Acres in reverse?

Same Q, Different Time...

Almost 2 months ago I got pulled over and ticketed for a broken tailight, driving others when my 6 months weren't up, and then on top of that I got ticketed for not knowing where my proof of insurance was (I did have it though). Anyway, my court date finally came. It was today. The judge was really nice. I showed her my proof of insurance, she took that off. I let her know that we got the tailight fixed, she took it off. And here comes the stupid part... we had been sitting in that room for a while and I got to listen to plenty of people pleading their cases. There was this one guy who went up with the same proof-of-insurance issue as me and he also had some other thing. The judge told him something about getting it deferred and how he would just need to come in for reviews or something. So...when the judge asked me if I wanted the driving-other-people deferred...I don't know. I am so stupid, I was just like 'oh no, that's okay, I know I did it.' I just...

My feelings is that non-citizens should be counted AS NON CITIZENS (illegals deported) and therefore the non citizen numbers SHOULD NOT be counted toward reapportionment. Afterall, aren't our elected officials suppose to represent THE CITIZENS?

Most Americans don't realize that their democracy redistributes political power based on the settlement patterns of illegal aliens and other non-citizens. These changes are significant enough to shuffle around a bunch of seats in the House and alter the outcome of a presidential elections. So it makes sense that the government's practice of treating illegal aliens the same as citizens for purposes of apportionment will favor dems. Noncitizen apportionment allows the creation of congressional districts full of people who don't have the right to vote--and Democrats almost always win in these places. People whose very presence in the United States is against the law are granted formal representation in Washington. It's just so wrong!

My boyfriend was recently arrested for possession of a firearm. He was previously charged with attempted murder (discharge of firearm) but was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was diagnosed with PTSD in 2002 or 2003. If he was found not guilty why is it unlawful for him to be in possession of a firearm? Am I missing something here?

I know that the F-6 was dubbed as the zero killer, but if memory serves me correctly, the P-51 had a brilliant record for the European theater. How do the planes compare against one another?

The delegation arrived at the market, which is called Shorja, on Sunday with more than 100 soldiers in armored Humvees — the equivalent of an entire company — and attack helicopters circled overhead, a senior American military official in Baghdad said. The soldiers redirected traffic from the area and restricted access to the Americans, witnesses said, and sharpshooters were posted on the roofs. The congressmen wore bulletproof vests throughout their hourlong visit.

“They paralyzed the market when they came,” Mr. Faiyad said during an interview in his shop on Monday. “This was only for the American media.”

If I am a passenger in a vehicle, and we are pulled over, sometimes the officer askes for I.D.'s of everyone in the vehicle. If I do not have one, but I give him (or her) my information, does the officer call it in to dispatch to check me out? Or do they type the info in on their "in-car" computer?
