I was thinking about going to the police k9 trials in scottsdale az. Does anyone know how much it cost to get in? Have you been to one? Is it an ok thing to bring a 1 year old to, I'm asking because of noise, heat...etc. There's a web site for it but it says nothing on it about price to get in or how long the event accually lasts. It's desertdogk9trials.com .

The boss had called for a small shipment of bubble wrap. Friday, when the employee received the $40 worth of bubble wrap she placed it under her desk (like what is done with every small shipment) and the following monday, it was gone. The boss accused the employee of stealing, and fired her. Is this grounds for firing? or are there other actions to be taken?

Why is the Bush Administration allowing so many drug pushers on TV ?
Is it because Halaburton is the major stockholder in Merk and Lilly?

The timetable doesn't force the millitary to do anything, its just a set of accomplshments the American people want to see get taken care of so we can withdraw from Iraq eventually; the vast majority of the American people (70%) want the U.S. out of there within two years, certainly 70% of American's do not think a withdraw is a surrender, why does Bush and his crony's believe this?

The violence in Iraq is between two groups, Sunni and Shite, and will continue regardless of if we are there or not. Iraq needs to take its destiny into its own hands.

Is liberal CNN getting its just deserts from some proud young patriot? Will CNN label the shooter an "angry youth"? Will they embrace dialog and understanding?

All I see is rants about Gore, how its all about Money, and the new liberal religion. Haven't the cons got some facts to back up their scientific "proof" against it?

BTW - I have the science, the impact variables, the possible plans for mitigation, and the estimated economic impact under numerous scenarios here;

One stop shopping for those who want the see current science and don't just bark at the moon with pseudo scientific denials.

Thankfully we did not show concern durring WW 2, we dropped the bomb without regard to "collateral damage" and the war was over in a few days.

First we were told that no way would dems take the house...then they would take that but not the senate. In a stunning upset, they were wrong on all accounts. Democrats were voted in to end the war in Iraq. Bush has now stated he doesn't think that is true. When will he ever get in touch with reality, and has his refusal to deal in reality been responsible for much of the failure in Iraq?

I just heard that University of California Freshmen in the 60's when asked what they want in life, overwhelmingly said peace.

The same question asked of 2006 UC Freshmen was answered "to get rich"

i get tired of seeing the same posts and answers about america winning and victory. what is a victory for america? what will be classified as a victory? do people not realize that america is no longer fighting a war. the iraqis are fighting among themselves, and we are caught in the middle. we have no clear enemy, only "insurgents" who are from both sect of the nation. i just dont understand how this is still considered our war and what will justify bringing the troops home.

Why do any of these clowns need to go to Syria, or, for that matter, anywhere other than their home state? It's a boondoggle at taxpayers expense, and, in the case of Pelosi, it does send a terrorist state the wrong message. Can't wait to hear from all those who say these bozos actually "learn" on these trips. The only thing most of them "learn" is how easy it is to put a boondoggle together.

When there are republicans there as well.
Is it because her visit might remove a possible premise for war or other agression in the future?

Im curious why republicans overlook their own when criticizing Pelosie for doing what they are doing?

Regardless of the reality that there are lots of researchers on both sides of the argument that make valid points for and against the theory (I'm not doing your research for you so go find out what is there on both sides yourself) why is it discussed so much in a political context?

When someone finds a new drug that benefits mankind, it isn't political...it is tested, reported, confirmed and everyone gets on board.

When a new planet is discovered...it isn't debated, it is observed, located, confirmed and everyone gets on board.

When advances in robotics are developed...it isn't debated, it is designed, developed, tested and put into production and everyone gets on board.

When a new gene is identified, it isn't debated, it is observed, tested, reported, confirmed and everyone gets on board.

However in the case of those that believe global warming is fact, it is not reported and confirmed...it is debated in political context....WHY?
