No National Healthcare!!!
Our taxes would go thru the roof. The waiting period for surgeries could be 3-6 months. And do you really want the gov. to know your medical history?
More than 50% of bankruptcies in the US are due to medical bills. Insurance companies have come up with hospital only plans to help cover people who don't have a lot of money. People would rather spend money on cable than to protect themselves and their family

Any plan that would help people purchase basic coverage on their own might be acceptable. Tax incentives for employers that sort of thing is fine. But socialized medicine such as the Canadian or British plans are totally unacceptable.
No one wants health care resembling the Department of Motor Vehicles office. Government bureaucracies are notoriously wasteful and inefficient.
Ours is the best health care system in the world. Any approach that would help insure the people who are not now covered would probably save money in the long run. But it has to be private health care and private insurance.

They shouldn't....that would give even more people less desire to sustain themselves.
Public housing, food stamps, health care, and many other government handouts. We could be wholly dependent on the government to provide for us, never have to work and spend our lives on vacation.

How would they go about getting it? I hope and pray they don't ever figure out how to be successful, or we will all see how expensive "free health care" can be.

Too many special interest groups will lobby against it. (medical institutions, insurance companies) It is futile.
