We disagree on the war being a mistake and on the statement of one admin squandering our reputation. We have had several administrations in recent history that hurt our reputation. Carter, and Clinton made the US appear weak and were laughing stocks of the world. Bush has most certainly made some enemies of some countries but as president in order to protect your own country you may have to piss off other countries. His job is not other countries it is this country and he is doing that. I don't approve of all of Bush's tactics and he should think before speaking a little more than he does and try not to come off as a bad azz cowboy but he is taking the right actions even as he blunders in speech. If you get your information on Iraq from the mainstream media you are only getting the points that support their opinions. News media is a spin zone used for their agenda.

It is so not okay.
It is going to cost the country for many years to come.
And all this could have been avoided because the world was at America's side after Sept 11th.
It was squandered away for a man's ego and his administration lack of courage to tell him the truth.
This is the classic case of "The Emperor's New Clothes".

The tragedy in this is that he knows the people do not want this but it does not matter what they want. He is in this for his ego at this point. He has a history of being stubborn and inflexible and at this point it is a test of wills. He does not have the guts or the grace to say he was wrong or that he lied to get us into this war. People will continue to die until we get this idiot out of office.

Costing lives is a given in war. Accept it. The other options were Kerry and Gore, count your blessings. Why does America need the approval of the world, especially a world gone mad and bad, which, btw, is evidence that everyone from there wants to come to America despite everything that's imperfect.

Apparently it is okay to make such a mistake. Bush has made it and unfortunately for this country he is such an ego maniac he really thinks he is doing the right thing.

only if you are an american politician who is a member of the republican party.
bush, it seems is responsible for nothing that has gone wrong in the past six years - and that's a lot to NOT be responsible.
bush simply does not care about the quality of people in his administration.
consider this- he has over 120 graduates of pat robersons little college in his administration.
that is mind boggling...

No, it is NOT all right. But what do you say to those voters who went out and voted for him AGAIN even though we were already in this war? He couldn't have continued this horrific mistake without them.

What mistake are you talking about? I see none that cost 1000's of lives... Well maybe our blind nation on 9/11. We should have been able to prevent it from happening, but sadly enough we weren't able to.
