To be fair they have to put morons like Rosie on the air... Or it won't be fair to the morons.

I don't know, and I don't much care. I'm just amused at how many questions this site supports that have Rosie O'Donnell as the subject. The funny part is that most Democrats, and not even most liberals, do NOT get their views from Rosie and don't give her the same "icon" status that those who hate her seem to think she has. It's like you're all flailing about taking potshots at someone you THINK those politically opposed to you respect and follow, but in reality they don't credit her with any special status. But ya'll keep on if it blows up your skirts, sooner or later you'll find a real target that really means something.

The answer is clear: It isn't.

I would like to correct your statement, Rosie O'Donnell does not spew theories. Theory has to have an element of truth, which nothing she says has. She does spew fairy tales and pipe dreams however.

Can I say to the previous answer, I just voted and find it hilarious that an unofficial ABC poll supports O'Reilly instead of their very own O'Donnell.

The view is not a news show. Its a bunch of weirdo's spouting opinion.

ABC never advertised itself as "fair and balanced" (as opposed to Fox which is neither). ABC news tends to be pretty middle of the road.

Why does ANYBODY care what Rosie says anyway?

It is not! But if you compare it to FOX it is way better on balancing the view points.

The best indication on this is how an average viewer answers the fact questions. Remember a poll Iraq, AlQuaida etc, when FOX viewers were the most delusional. ABC was far ahead!

It's as fair and balanced as O'Reilly. The View is not a news show. It's a morning gab fest. No one would know what Rosie was saying if the cons didn't keep repeating it.

ABC is not in the fair and balance business. IT is time to take over Disney and fire all ABC management to allow this to happen.

Rosie is a talk show just like OReilly and Rush etc. They are paid to spew theories and propagnda. When she takes over as an anchor or new reporter then we can question it.
However even the name of the show is called the view. When she is yapping away it's her own personal views.

I've never heard ABC claim to be "fair and balanced". Isn't that The Faux Noise moniker?

Since when is ABC fair and balanced? When has ABC, NBC, or CBS ever been fair and balanced?
