My boyfriend's aunt was asked by her boss to "accidently" burn down her place of employment for the insurance money. She hitched a ride to the laundry matt that she works at with her vehicle, caught a drier on fire by messing with the wires and left. When my boyfriend returned to his house (across the street from whare her appartments are) she ran over and asked him for a ride. They had already passed her when she was on her way upto the laundry matt and knew she had been their already but was needing a ride to the gas station for somthing to eat. They gave her a ride but she knew she couldnt go to the laundry matt with my boyfriend's mother in the car so she let them go back to the house then "forgot" and said she had to change the security tapes at her job. My boyfriend got in the car and drove her to the laundry matt when he saw that it was on fire, he turned to run to the video place next store when his aunt stopped him and said "wait! I'll give you 1,000$ if you dont.

Recent headlines read "Senate OKs war bill with Iraq timeline"
Do they understand what will happen if we pull out.
You can’t tell the terrorist what day they can come back in and undo everything that we have accomplished.
Plus a withdrawal before the war is won makes every soldier who lost their lives useless.
THE WAR MUST BE FOUGHT UNTIL IRAQ CAN TAKE CONTROL OF THIER COUNTRY!
Not one minute sooner.

why don't they look into the claims rather than demonize people who bring it up?

It was stolen 2 1/2 years ago, but I've periodically checked the local pawn shops ever since. And today... it was there! My problem is that since it's been so long, I have no idea how to claim the ring... but I REALLY want it back. Does anyone know the steps I should take?

FYI: I didn't fill out a police report at the time because I was afraid that I may have somehow lost it. Our home was being remodeled & everything was a mess... but I always suspected that one of the workers had stolen it. Turns out, I was RIGHT...

Presidents usually clean hour when they first get into office. Clinton and Reagan both cleaned house at the start of their terms. Bush let these prosecutors continue for a few years and decided then to clean house. So why all the flap? If you fire the other team off the bat you're ok but if you fire them in midstream that's reallly bad?

Or will you be arrested for brandishing a firearm? Would you hold him/her at gunpoint if you knew it was against the law? Remember, you are the one who is going to be paying high insurance rates if he steals your vehicle.

He is one of the 9/11 Conspiracy Guru's often quoted on this board. In doing some research, I found that he isn't a structural engineer, nor a civil engineer, not a chemical engineer, nor even an architect.

This "expert" is a software engineer.

In his own words: "A software engineer by profession, I have developed new algorithms and applications in computational geometry used in both pure mathematics and polymer chemistry. My work in applying scientific visualization to minimal surface geometry was instrumental in the discovery of the first new examples of complete, finite, embedded minimal surfaces in over two hundred years. My visualizations have been featured in articles in Science News, Scientific American, Science Digest, and Nature."

How is that for credible scientific evidence?

The law isnt very black and white as many of you know. I live in Florida and I'm not sure what the self defense laws are. I thought if you used a weapon in self defense you could be charged with aggravtaed battery, which I believe carries a two year mandatory sentence. Anybody know?

I mean, you want to know why people allegedly slander (which I really meant in a jocular manner - go on Jim, look up "jocular") "Blue States", whose actions speak for themselves, but then turn around assume people that live in Red States automatically love NASCAR or live in trailers?

Isn't liberalism supposed to teach tolerance?

It seems like we get into a lot of mess, because we are meddling in other's affairs. Do you think being isolated and working on our own domestic problems will help US become much stronger economically and militarily?

All these posters accusing Diane Feinstein of funneling money to her husbands firm URS, apparently don't know that URS is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Richard Blum doesn't own that company.

But wait a minute. Wasn't URS one of those Defense related Carlyle group companies?

What about EG&G?

Wasn't George Bush part of the Carlyle group?

It's true, these guys posting this story are shills for the republican party and don't even have a clue as to what they are talking about.

The question is, What do you think of these posters who are attacking Diane Feinstein on this issue?

Senate OKs war bill with Iraq timeline By ANNE FLAHERTY,

Senate Democrats ignored a veto threat and pushed through a bill Thursday requiring President Bush to start withdrawing troops from "the civil war in Iraq," dealing a rare, sharp rebuke to a wartime commander in chief.

In a mostly party line 51-47 vote, the Senate signed off on a bill providing $123 billion to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It also orders Bush to begin withdrawing troops within 120 days of passage while setting a nonbinding goal of ending combat operations by March 31, 2008.

The vote came shortly after Bush invited all House Republicans to the White House to appear with him in a sort of pep rally to bolster his position in the continuing war policy fight.

"We stand united in saying loud and clear that when we've got a troop in harm's way, we expect that troop to be fully funded," Bush said, surrounded by Republicans

We spend a lot of time complaining about the problems that our nation faces, and even more time trying to figure out who's to blame. Is there anything you believe may have fallen through the cracks while the parties were debating the more sensational issues? Something they might agreeably solve together?
