The American public has asked Congress to end the war in Iraq. Congress complied and Bush is resisting which is the same thing he will do to any attempts to remove him from office. I agree with your reasoning and would support any movement you would start to get him to step down.

Yes, the American people need to stand up and have Bush step down. I have to admit, I am a Republican and have voted for Bush the last 2 elections. He has let me down by not carrying through with alot of what he has promised to do from the start. I am seriously thinking of what the word "Republican" really means. But I shouldn't knock the word, I think many Republicans are embarrassed by him now and want him out as well. He is stubborn on a war that is going on and on and only getting worse. He has spent our money, there has been more killings. I am sad to say, In honor of my family and myself, we do need him out and try to see if someone else can do better. It can't be too much worse than what is happening now. Let the people stand up and have a voice, but a positive one. Let's put reason in the place of the chaos that is happening here.

No. He was elected and while unpopular because of the war, he believes as a leader he is doing the right thing. It is lonely at the top. I am sure he would like the war in Iraq to be over as well. Few seem to understand that under every president, our country has spent billions "fighting" on foreign territory. Not only that, we always end up having a base station forever there after. The strategy for success in Iraq looks more like hope than an attainable goal but Bush led, the public followed, and now we want to see mission accomplished for real and finally.

I think the American People should ask for an impeachment hearing but to expect that from the new Congress which takes an Iraq War Bill and puts in $20 billion for wasteful spending just to get their war profits it would never get done. When the Senate and House are doing more immoral and questionable activities than the President they couldn't even consider an impeachment hearing.

Name one lie that Bush has made to the American people? You cant!

UPDATED: The war in Iraq WAS the last resort in case you didnt notice. We tried to get him to cooperate with the UN but he didnt so we went to war. How is that a lie?

We are still looking for Osama Bin Ladin. Statements like those are pledges and the military is doing what they can to take care of him. Theyve gotten close a few times because they ran into his personal suicide bombers. Why didnt Clinton take care of him when he couldve?

As far as the WMD's go, he was just going off what our intelignece sector said as well as the inteligence of other countries. And all presidents make decisions on less than perfect information and it is still the case that we are going to find more. We have already found 600 canisters of mustard gas.

If that is the best you have you are indeed ignorant and dont keep up with current events. You are just another mindless Bush hater that periodically tunes into the liberal media to get your fill of how "evil Bush is." I truly feel sorry for people like you that make America weak and pathetic.

Congress doesnt have the power to get rid of the president. Read the constitution and grow up!

You have no idea JUST how strategic his goal is. He has the troops in the perfect place; at the perfect time. You will know this when he wipes our Ahmadinajad (Iranian president) for attempting to bring hurt upon ISRAEL!!!! To defend Israel is THE #1 BEST WAY TO PROTECT THE U.S.A. Look at history; this runs deeper than most shallow, Hollywood brainwashed american idol, desperate housewives COULD EVER COMPREHEND! PPL here are clueless about GOD, Christ JESUS and THE HUNDREDS OF BIBLICAL PROPHESIES that are already accomplished.....and the dozens which are playing out with bone chilling PERFECT TIMING AND ACCURACY. Leaving the Mideast..as Bush recently said "Will hold DISASTROUS consequences!"

We are spending money on American problems... By getting rid of those who hate our freedom and want to kill us. Is getting people killed all this war is about? OF COURSE NOT! Saddam Hussein, in addition to torturing and killing his own people, was funding terrorist orgs. that would like nothing better than to see America fall. Where are the WMD's? Hmm... do you think that maybe with the weeks spent talking about whether they were there or not, the powerful dictator could have gotten them out of the country???

I, personally think that all the money and lives were worth it to get that scumbag out of power. Not to mention that there are thousands of people who are free, now and participating in democracy.

But I suppose that you don't really care about that...

P.s. Remember that a majority of Congress thought there was reason to go to war.

P.P.s. Oh, yeah. Kudos to the Democratic party to sticking to their guns and still opposing the war... WITH A NON-BINDING RESOLUTION.

It's not going to happen.

There is no way in the current political climate that the Senate would vote 2/3 to convict. No possible way, despite all the evidence (including his own admissions) that Bush has intentionally violated federal law.

So, why waste time in the House voting for an indictment (the actual start of impeachment) if there is no chance of conviction given the climate in the Senate?

The problem for all of you whom voted for change last election is this. Once those dems got in power they began to realize that they cant snap their fingers and create change. They actually have to get off their butts and work, hard at making change happen through repeated bills. Luck for us most dems are too lazy for that. So status quo by default...
