I mean, you want to know why people allegedly slander (which I really meant in a jocular manner - go on Jim, look up "jocular") "Blue States", whose actions speak for themselves, but then turn around assume people that live in Red States automatically love NASCAR or live in trailers?
Isn't liberalism supposed to teach tolerance?

OK, Cut the Crap, but I'm entitled to my opinion, too. The difference is you just tag mine as hate, which it's not. People in MA have either been duped for so long they know no better, or are just idiots. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I apologize. I have always assumed that watching cars drive in circles is why you are all so dizzy. It never occurred to me that it could be something else.
What is it then? moonshine?

Liberals are just haters - there's no other excuse for what they say or do. I thought NASCAR was the most popular televised sport in America - so I'm not sure how people can say it's only popular in red states. The other thing - I don't think NASCAR raced in the northern part of the US until fairly recently so I think it was more popular in the south THEN, just because it was contained there.
Before I moved to NC I had people telling me I'd better come to love NASCAR and Johnny Cash or I'd never fit in - I'm not sure how TRUE that was. I think a lot of drivers live or have lived in NC so that may be a part of the reason so many people seem to love it.
Stereotypes are stupid - but it IS a known fact that people in the south make less money - and I can say for sure that every state in the south I've been to has had more trailers than any state up north. WHY DO WE CARE THOUGH? Let them live in peace already. If you don't like mobile homes, you don't have to live in one. Maybe those people are just living within their means (something MOST people know NOTHING about) - who wants to go into debt anyway?

I know what ya mean . It's getting pretty bad when someone wants to identify you according to what 'state' you live in . Just more insane rationalizations propagated only for the purpose of division .
None of us should say the other side . . . lives in trailers, doesn't work, gets welfare, is only a bunch of rednecks, NASCAR fans, smokes pot, has long-hair and must be a hippie, etc. etc
This stuff is the epitome of the juvenile catcall. . . " I know you are, but what am I "

It IS a stereotype, but like some, it isn't ENTIRELY false. If you were advertizing something that would appeal to Nascar types, where would you place the ads? And Nascar is just an entirely stupid waste of gas... just like you-know-who who wants to drill ANWAR.

I Love NASCAR. I'm a Redneck. But I love This Country and what it stands for. And I honor Our Troops for making me safe to do things like read so many people trash Our President. Like he was common everyday Trash. This divisiveness needs to end. Name-calling. Mud-slinging, false accusations, and anything that us Rednecks don't know how to say, (lol). It just needs to get back to getting answers.

Those with little substance, irregardless of the degree held, seek to cast people into little boxes after which they feel safer and don't have to answer the hard questions.
It is time that America wakes up to the fact that the "cracker" states are mostly northern imigrants now and that there are as many Ivy league degrees held by our citizens as there are elsewhere in the country.

I just moved to North Carolina from California, and I hate to break it to you...but people here DO love Nascar (oh, and many live in trailers...). My wife's new company is constantly having NASCAR promotions (such as winning a chance to be on a pit crew, and what not). She finally had to find a new job because the thing the co-workers her age wanted to talk about was Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon....
Sorry, bub. That's not slander. Those are simply the facts....

This is how liberal posters deal with being proven wrong. They resort to juvenile name calling because they know no other way to debate an issue.
Liberalism is suppose to teach tolerance but only when it benefits liberals.

Hate to break it to you, but most males down here in the South do.....it USED to be a Southern thang. I presume most blue staters are a little light in their loafers, will screw you forwards and backwards, eat rabbit food, and religiously watch reruns of Seinfeld.....WHAT is UP with THAT??

It's a slam. You're a gun toting, wife beating, deer hunting, live in a trailer, low educated, white man. Elites use the term all the time. I know you'll have all these open minded tolerant Liberals claim, "Not me." But when in private...
