I hope Pres. Bush will veto it since It is an act of betrayal - it tells enemies the poor conditions of our troops now and it bargains the life of our troops for Dem. political achievement.

It the would go to the President for his signature. If he signs, it becomes law, if not, it goes back, requiring a 2/3 majority vote to become law. The act of not signing is called veto.

GWB will veto it and then whine, cry and say Congress doesn't support our troops.
