He is one of the 9/11 Conspiracy Guru's often quoted on this board. In doing some research, I found that he isn't a structural engineer, nor a civil engineer, not a chemical engineer, nor even an architect.
This "expert" is a software engineer.
In his own words: "A software engineer by profession, I have developed new algorithms and applications in computational geometry used in both pure mathematics and polymer chemistry. My work in applying scientific visualization to minimal surface geometry was instrumental in the discovery of the first new examples of complete, finite, embedded minimal surfaces in over two hundred years. My visualizations have been featured in articles in Science News, Scientific American, Science Digest, and Nature."
How is that for credible scientific evidence?

I have a better one. After the Popular Mechanics article was published, he was quoted as saying, "[the article] purports to debunk conspiracy theorists' physical-evidence based claims without even acknowledging that there are other grounds on which to question the official story," also "Indeed many 9/11 researchers don't even address the physical evidence, preferring to focus on who had the means motive, and opportunity to carry out the attack." I agree with James B. Meigs response, " since we've all ready decided who to blame, Hoffman is saying, evidence is optional.
