OK fine, they're 50/50 now, but if we go another year, two, three, and the mutated megastorms they're predicting will come in droves don't materialize, will they admit they were wrong? Or will they just change the story to "global warming actually makes hurricanes weaker and less likely to happen?" How many years do you think it will take before they either admit they were wrong or change their story?

Punching 3 holes through the C-Ring of the building and then vaporizing into thin air? What about the engines? Landing gear? Not a trace of blood...Why did the FBI confiscate the tapes from across the street?

My boyfrinend is fixing to graduate from boot camp, and he is in the Army. He wants to get married when he comes back home, but there is one problem. I want to join the Marines after I finish up my semester of college. Joining the Marines has always been something that I wanted to do. But, I know that if I join the Marines while my boyfriend is in the Army there is a good chance that we will be stationed in different areas. Can someone give me some advice and comments? Should I go ahead and stay in college and work toward my Early Childhood Education Degree and get married to the love of my life, or should I follow my dream and become a Marine?

This is a very controversial topic. I am pro-life myself, but I want to hear the other side of the story. Personally, I think that it is sick to kill a baby.

With Companies Leaving the United States and getting cheaper labor they are forgetting that there are people that are out of work here. Shouldn't the Government start taxing these companies harder with import taxes so they would stay here and help the economy in there own back yard??

So with their wrongful use of power, the FBI wants more power as a result? LOL...I really think the dumb, weak, complicit congress will give it to them despite the wrongful use of the power.

These are the kind of people you vote for - LOL!

Even though we've voted in the best govt this country is likely to see, and have a great economy, there is always some things that dont measure up to the high standards we expect.

What in the last 10 years has been a bit of a let down for you, from this govt?

For me, its been the on-going problem with immigration, a country our size can only house so many, and take so much, before something has to give!

Also, i'd like to see a proper crackdown on those among us who refuse to work and cheat benefits, yet somehow never seem to get caught, or if they do, manage to continue with little more than a slap on the wrist. I know many people who have been hauled up for cheating, yet still do not work.

I'd like to see both these things addressed during the next term of office, be-it Brown Blair or who-ever.

What for you, has been a let down?

I know it's possible to obtain itemized lists of incoming and outgoing calls from your phone company. Is it possible for a regular citizen to obtain the actual voice recordings of the conversation of a particular phone call from a landline to a cell phone? Or does that go against privacy laws? Would phone companies not give that out.

I'm doing research for a privacy research assignment. I call the phone companies but they have no idea what I'm talking about!! LoL. The lady at ameritech was like "huh?" LoL

Thanks bunches

Everytime someone suggests impeaching Bush without proof of a crime or even the suggestion of one, I can't help but think "why does this people hate the constitution?"

After all, a president must have committeded a crime in order for impeachment to take place.

I want to eventually be a psychologist for the FBI. I want to become a special agent and might join the police dept and work to become a homicide detective. I have also always wanted to join the military as a army or navy officer because i already have my degree in psychology. What should I do. Skip the military and join the police after college? Will that just be a waste of time which could be used to gain law enforcement experience?

Mayor Wants Billboards Removed
AP
NEWARK, N.J. (March 27) - The head of the city's teachers union said it won't take down "Stop the killings" billboards despite complaints from business owners and the new mayor that they're driving away business.

Mayor Cory Booker, who campaigned last year on a promise of reducing crime, says the signs fuel a negative image of the city, where a record 106 people were killed last year - the highest number in a decade.

"I know if I had tens of thousands of dollars, I wouldn't use them on billboards," Booker said. "I would use them for after-school programs. I would use them to help teachers get supplies."

The six billboards in the downtown area were put up about two months ago. They scream, "HELP WANTED: Stop the Killings in Newark Now!" Joe Del Grosso, president of the Newark Teachers Union, wouldn't say how much the signs cost.

"I think we have a serious problem," said Del Grosso, whose union endorsed Booker's opponent and is at odds with Booker over school vouchers. "It's about people dying."
