This is a very controversial topic. I am pro-life myself, but I want to hear the other side of the story. Personally, I think that it is sick to kill a baby.

I am pro-choice in certain situations. If the mother's health is in danger, or if there was rape or incest, I think abortion should be allowed. HOWEVER. I don't think it should just be a form of birth control, and i don't think there's ever an excuse for partial-birth abortion. That is murder flat out; they deliver the baby anyway, so why not deliver it alive and give it up for adoption?

I agree w/u 100%!! I am pro-life as well. I really think it's very disturbing that ppl should be allowed to kill a fetus, which is just a defenseless unborn baby...I believe that life begins at conception! They should all be held accountable under the law just as murderers are!

I have heard of women who have had an abortion who have seriously regretted the decision they made & live with the guilt for the rest of their lives!

It is legal, at least in the first two trimesters.

If the fetus is not formed sufficiently to survive outside the womb without medical assistance, then a woman has a right to control what is happening to her body. After that, she is obligated to deliver it.

You realize the consequence of forcing every woman to carry a child to term? That would have added 47 million unwanted children into our children's homes in the last 30 years. And please don't tell me they would be adopted. Have you adopted any children? According to the US census there are less than 2 million families who have adopted children.

Many of those babies would have been born with medical problems - they are not adoptable. There are thousands of American children growing up in childrens' homes because no-one wants the ugly, the damaged, the frail. Yet hundreds of couple spend a fortune to adopt a nice little asian or east European baby. It's disgusting.

No, I don't want to pay the extra taxes to build more care homes; I don't want to doom children to 16 years in 'the system' being raised by people who don't care. I don't want them to end up in crack homes, or with people who are violent and abusive.

It is far better to control our population by termination rather than neglect.

NO, people need to learn to take responsibility for there actions. If two people can't control themselves and create a baby they have no right to kill it just because they don't want to have a burden or inconvenience that they should have avoided from the beginning by keeping there pants on.
In short, abortion is immoral and sick. So no, i don't think it is ok to kill baby's.

I'm pro choice. My body belongs to me and ONLY me...not the government's or the anti-abortion crowd. If you're not going to adopt my "would be" aborted baby, then it's SO none of your business what I do. Each person has to do what SHE thinks is best in her own unique situation and only SHE should be allowed to decide what course of action she takes. SHE and only SHE is the one who is going to have to live with whatever decision she makes...not you or the government.
