Be smart, STAY in school, graduate and then go on from there. I personally would not recommend the Army. I enlisted in the Navy in 1943 when I was 17, going on 18, but I graduated from HS first. I got to many stories of being out in bad weather from the fellow school mates that got drafted ahead of me. In the Navy I all ways had a hot meal every day and a dry place to sleep at night. On second thought you might look into the Coast Guard, you are all ways near the states or you might even get to serve in Hawaii. BUT the main thing is to finish your schooling first.

Why?

A High School Diplomia looks better then anything else on a job application.

But if that's the route you want to go, you might have to wait until your 18. That's the age most states allow children to drop out. You should rethink your options before you go though with this though. It's a noble cause to join just be sure you're willing to die for the right reasons.

Ask the Army, or call the School Board in your town.

Why not just work at home on getting your GED?

Stay in school, kid....

You're not doing youyrself any favors and the Army won't take you at your age anyway.
