Iran has a history of instability in its governments. Right now they have fanatical leaders and its difficult to trust in their future ability to control their own people, and the fear is not only that they will bomb Israel, without provocation, but that they will eventually use it to quell their own people in an attempt to retain power. The United States developed the Nuclear bomb quite early in the sweepstakes and to date it is the only country to have used it on an enemy populace.
No one could match them for firepower and so no one was going to get in their face, as you put it. All countries are not the same, some are unstable and under dictatorships, others suffer from extreme poverty due to their leaders excessive paranoia the US is under neither category.

It is called a guilty conscience for those that actually know the history of American involvement with Iran. In the late 1950's the United State's CIA overthrew the elected leader of Iran and installed The Shah of Iran who was overthrown by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and who now serve the leaders of Iran to this day.
The United States caused the existing government of Iran. Seems a little nuts doesn't it! Why do we not hear about this history?

Because the last positive thing to come out of that land was... was... wait a minute, let me think... Christiane Amanpour? Andre Agassi's parents? Or do we have to go all the way back to... No, if that movie is any indication, the Persians deserved to get beaten by the Greeks... Well, there must be something!

Same reason they look at us in a negative way. People from another country who have never visited this country see the people through the government. It's not the Iranian people I have a problem with, it's the Iranian government.

I noticed in your propaganda post you forgot to mention that Iran has 15 Brittish sailors illegally captured and also didn't mention the small detail of Ahmadinejad calling for wiping Israel off the face of the earth.
Irans people need to grow some gonads and throw their government officials in the Persian gulf.

Because the media says Iran is a threat. There's also the fact that it's a fundamentalist dictatorship, and it is being extremely provocative. But the main reason there is so much stupid 'nuke Tehran' bollocks here is because a lot of people will listen to anything Fox tells them.

BS!
The Iranian president, a terrorist, has already stated that when he gets the nukes, he's going to make sure that every Muslim country (radical or otherwise) will have nukes. They have no need to be afraid of attackers if they wouldn't keep making nukes and threatening other countries.
So your statement it utter BS and you know it.

Whatever one's criticism of Iran, they are, at the very least, standing up to US imperialism, and in that respect they have my support.
