Many of the dollars we spend on imported oil are going to nations that support radical Islamist terrorists against whom we're engaged in a global war. We are in fact fighting a war on terrorism and paying both sides of the war. We are sending troops and dollars to fight for freedom and democracy all over the world, and we are sending money to the people who don't like us. Instead of both parties fighting each other in government, and citizens bickering shouldn't we come together, and set America free by focusing on existing technologies for cheap alcohol based fuels. Don't you think we must all come together immediatly to reduce our dependence on foreign fuel rather than waste another quarter of a century coming to terms with our dependence on foreign oil. Why not stop spending your time debating the war, debating whose the best, and email your congressmen on this issue, and talk about ways to make this happen!

At the same time editors are still discussing Bill Clinton's adultery.

Both Rudy and McCain are admitted adulterers.

By the end of the decade one in four new cases of schizophrenia could be triggered by smoking cannabis, scientists say.

Research has suggested that regular users of the drug are up to six times more likely to develop schizophrenia, although whether the drug is the direct cause remains disputed.

According to the mental health charity Rethink, at least five international studies have found that cannabis doubles the risk of mental illness, including schizophrenia.

A spokesman for the charity said: “We now know that cannabis can be a trigger for mental health problems and smoking it under the age of 18 can double people’s chances of developing psychosis.”

Last year the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs concluded that there may be a link between cannabis use and psychotic illnesses, but found insufficient evidence that frequent users were more likely to develop schizophrenia.

What is your legal right and how long do you have before the landlord can start eviction. The people are trying to pay and haven't been 30 days behind yet.

Embroiled in the Gonzales scandal Bush is now constantly endorsing him.
So - how many endorsements will it take -for you - to believe he really means it?

- explaining why it took whatever number will be enlightening.

What do you think the world would be like? What would America be like? Would we still be the Super Power who others come to for help, or just a world Bully with no street-credit? Would our Government be more or less respected?

Just curious, as not many people have polarized America quite like George does (Bill Clinton aside :P). Just wanted some honest, hopefully educated, answeres.

It seems like there are alot of people out there that hate President Bush. The crazy thing is that most of those people have had to vote for him since, after all, he did become our President. So if he is hated by so many then how is it that he became the President? FYI: I did NOT vote for Bush, I'm just tired of hearing all this BS about him when apparently many of you out there liked him enough to vote him for President, so PLEASE give it a rest. You can't change it now!

If you think about it, it goes to show how professional US soldiers are, to put up with LIEberal Traitors spitting on them and calling them 'baby killers' and not acting out against the LIEberals. Of course, most war protestors are hippies and suffering dementia after years of drug use and loud (but good) music.

Hi guys! Basically I have this issue that's really bothering me. I just got into a car accident. Someone hit me in a parking lot by backing out. They didn't see me and just ran right into me. They begged me to settle this w/out the cops and I said no and called the cops (both the driver and passenger had their license suspended and no insurance). Cop came and half an hour later told me that because I was in a private parking lot, he cannot write them up for violation. Call my insurance and that was it. Does this sound right to you guys or is there something going on? Does that mean I can get a bat and smack the other guy's car w/out getting in trouble?
What should I do?

This quote is from todays L.A. Times. The newspaper does not followup or even seem to care about voter fraud.

"We marched, we voted, and nothing," said Lida Vidal, 34, who came here illegally 17 years ago from Mexico. "I still don't have papers."

Are you naive enough to believe the president controls anything? You believe in santa too I bet. The real powers are in the shadows, you will never see them on press conferences explaining themselves. The boss doesnt have to explain anything to you, you poor poor delusional people. Did you see the godfather explaning himself to anybody? Try to go beyond 5th grade civics or college poly sci. Naive.

The U.S. media landscape is dominated by massive corporations that, through a history of mergers and acquisitions, have concentrated their control over what we see, hear and read. In many cases these giant companies are vertically intergrated, controlling everything from initial production to final distribution.
