Funny how so many Americans on YA think they did the French a huge favour during the World Wars but did you know that if it wasn't for the French you'd still be a British colony and would be speaking the Queen's English. You did realise it was French muscle that won the War of Independence right? I suggest you go look at a history book and specifically look at Yorktown and the Battle of Chesapeake Capes before you lambast the French again.

The statue of liberty was given to the USA in 1886
way before we "bailed them out"
You are just pissed at the French because they were 100% absolutely right about this war that George W Bush sold the people of the United States of America based upon what he KNEW were LIES

Considering that Paris is the fashion capitol of the world shouldn't they give lady liberty a new wardrobe. Maybe a ballgown and spike heels. Or how about a french maid outfit for her to wear on holidays.
