Embroiled in the Gonzales scandal Bush is now constantly endorsing him.
So - how many endorsements will it take -for you - to believe he really means it?

- explaining why it took whatever number will be enlightening.

In my way of thinking what ever Bush says about Gonzales at this point is measured and screened by Rove and Cheney.

Just the questions being asked about the US Attorney General is not a good thing for Gonzales and eventually he like Rumsfield will have to step aside before taking down others like Karl Rove. I believe most people see that with out Rove, Bush is just a bumbling idiot

I do not think BushCo will wait around as long as they did with Rumsfield before they quietly ask Gonzales to resign.

Is he endorsing Gonzales unsolicited? Or are his endorsements in response to questions from the media about it?

I'm sure he's being bombarded 24/7 with the same stupid question about Gonzales.

I think we will see a reversal in that endorsement when subpeonas are issued. At that time, Bush will claim ignorance and distance himself as far as he can from Gonzales. Roberto will become another scapegoat...I'm just hoping that Bush won't get away with it this time...

Bush believes in "catapulting the propaganda" so he must repeat the same things over and over again. He is trying to hypnotize the masses with repetition.

Unfortunately for Dubya, it isn't working again.

I'm still trying to figure out if anything illegal took place. Under what grounds are they allowed to fire a federal prosecutor? If laws where broken, no one, including Bush will likely support him, or whoever else.

Just like "You're doing a great job Brownie". "You're doing a great job Rummy". I think Gonzo should be nervous right now. That kind of support can get a guy fired.
