Nancy Pelosi and her team are crying foul over the firings of eight U.S. federal attorneys.

But the hard truth is this: federal prosecutors serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States. It is perfectly legal for him to fire any - or all - of the U.S. attorneys for any reason at all.

In March of 1993, the Clinton administration fired all 93 federal prosecutors with absolutely no fanfare. No controversy. No congressional subpoenas or public hearings.

But the House of Representatives - and now a Senate panel as well - have issued the ''OK'' for subpoenas of key aides to the President.

On a question about Rosie O'Donell I saw this answer. You have got to be a Really Lousy Person if THIS is the result of ateaching of "lover" and "truth".

RLP:
Rosie O is helping the CONSERVATIVE cause by making herself and her ideology look so foolish.
She is an idiot and I bet when normal men and women watch her, they think liberals are off-the-wall!
EDIT - I wish "he" (lol) and his "wife" would just fade away...

If "normal" being being that hateful and superstitious, I'll take a "godless" freak anytime!

I wish the reactioanry tone of the Dark Ages would finally "fade away".

"normal" LOL

They are the ONLY people I hear EVER invoking her as a political expert, for ANY reason. I'm a liberal, and I don't even know (or CARE) where she stands on any issue. Nor does any liberal I've ever met. So why do neocons seem so impressed with her?

Since Belgium will not confront Iran on the illegal seizure of the British Navy personnel, and since Belgium will not confront Iran on their seeking nuclear weapons, does this signal the END of the strong Belgian leadership role and imperialistic ambitions in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East?

No, wait! Belgium hasn't world events since they invented the waffles and the saxophone! Ha ha ha!

They whine out of one side of their mouth that the government(Liberals) are trying to restrict their rights with gun control laws, but out of the other side of their mouth, they want to force their views of anti-choice on women when it comes to abortion.

He could challenge the Democratic nominee to a duel and we could sell tickets. His campaign slogan would be, " Give 'em' hell, Zell."

Forget what people say about her appearance. I think the idea that she refuses to let the Government think for her is the REAL facisnation here.

She speaks her mind and is not afraid of a little conservative flack now and then to let her know she is doing here job to exercise her fredom, and ensure it for others.

Yeah she's a lesbian. Not religous either, obviously. But she's not ashamed of it. Why should she be? It is her CANDOR that intimidates AND since you can tell it is not all reactionary hot air, she must mean what she says.

In "the land of the free"(hoo boy) that IS scary.

I don't think I have ever agreed with the ACLU on one issue. Whenever I am confused about an issue, I usually mull it over for a few days, do some research, and decide my "stance" on that particular issue. However, sometimes I find it hard to decide exactly how I feel about a certain issue.

Whenever this happens, can I just call the ACLU, find out what they think, and do the exact opposite? Or has the ACLU ever made a "good call", where I should agree with them. For instance, they:

-Defend groups such as NAMBLA and the KKK
-Are against Jessica's Law, and other laws aimed at sex offenders
-Pretty much fight for ALL prisoner's rights cases, where I feel they should have little to NO rights, except to not get tortured see my idol:
http://www.cnn.com/US/9907/27/tough.sheriff/
-Supports Affirmative Action, otherwise known as Reverse Racism
-Believe that the Second Amendment does NOT allow for individual gun ownership, when it does
-Is against regulating SPAM and other junk mail

So???

I find that hard to believe, that a state that voted like 98% republican would vote for a Democratic candidate.

Is it because his Border Security enforcements (that US seems to want) has made him persona-non-grata? The same treatment Howard Dean got because of some views and a lack of effort by the people he went down. If US keeps going by what big $$ campains push we will get what they want to give US then.
