Paisley has not quite capitulated just yet.
In fact, it would seem extremely likely that he will not.
The expectation was that Paisley's son would take the helm, and so the "Joint rule" would happen. However, the more Paisley Senior gets involved, the less likely any capitulation is going to be. Even at his age, Paisley wields a lot of power
