There is a time and place for everything, and the way Rosie attacks her Conservative co-worker out of the blue, is purely of poor taste, not to mention low class....
Yeah, shes definitely a lesbian, a loud mouthed boisterous one, & she doesnt let anyone forget that! So is Ellen D, but, I love that woman! (just so you know this isnt an attack against R just because of her sexual preference) Rosie thinks she can only be funny at someone elses expense.. She shows a lack of self esteem.
In all honesty, theres nothing intimidating or scary about Rosie, the only thing I see when I look at her, isnt even the ugly twisted way she hold her mouth off to the side in hopes to use her so called accent to its fullest, its her stupidity and lack of intelligence that catches my eye when I hear her, nothing more. Reactionary hot air, yes! A ploy to stay in the tabs...

I don't think she has anything at all to do with politics. She is a heavily opinionated woman who often puts her foot in her mouth when she gets riled up about something she doesn't appreciate. If she isn't ashamed of that, that's not being brave, that's just irrepressibly and unapologetically foolhardy. I don't think she needs to be ashamed of her homosexuality, and I certainly don't care if she is religious or not, I'm a spiritual man myself, but not without sin and vice I don't believe it is my place to judge whether or not she is GOD fearing, or whatever, I cannot rebuke my fellow man, because in spite of the personal differences, we are too similar for her to be subject to my rulings.
But I still don't think she is even remotely political, she just has a big mouth, and besides the fact (or my opinion) that she was a mediocre actress who is now way past her expiration date, I have no problems with her.

She does have the right to free speech, just as I have the right to laugh at all the stupidity that falls out of her mouth with regularity. I am definitely not afraid of her ilk, but how she might influence liberal lemmings who are unable or unwilling to think for themselves. I am sure when ABC finally lets her go, she will find a home on whatever is left of "Air America".

Rosie doesn't scare me. She is just an obnoxious pig who makes ludicrous statements for a living. She too is claiming that the Bush admin was involved in the attack on 9/11.
I can't stand Bush but I won't lie on the guy, especially about something that serious. Speaking your mind is one thing, accusing someone of the mass murder of American civilians through treason is a whole different ball game.

Neither Rosie's appearance nor her lesbianism bother me. I think it's fine that she has an opinion and chooses to speak out. I find her opinions offensive and extreme. As a person in the spotlight, her words will relfect upon those whom she represents.

Not scared, just annoyed. Sure she has the right to speak her mind (I'd be pissed if she didn't have the right), just as I have the right to say she is wrong. Freedom of speech works both ways. Now you have the freedom to tell me I'm wrong. But come on, when she says we shouldn't fight terrorists because they are parents like us, don't you think she deserves some crap.

I find Rosie to be hilarious at times, she's genuinely a very funny person. I don't always agree with her views, but I agree she has a perfect right to them. It seems like the times she really ticks off the far right is when she hits a nerve with a good point that she makes. Then you see question after question in here about Rosie, her weight and her sexual orientation and how dare she have the nerve to state her opinion, she's just a degenerate, she shouldn't be allowed to have one. God forbid they address the point itself lol. Sometimes I think it's threatening to the Religious Right and far right conservatives that she has a podium on The View every weekday morning at all. I mean Good Lord we can't have upstart opinions on our morning talk shows can we? Got to laugh at the hysteria surrounding one woman's opinion every time she opens her mouth. I can't help but get a kick out of it.

Rosie doesn't scare me in the least. It's that she's actually got a good enough agent (and lame production standards) to be on air at all that's scary.
The problem with Rosie and her ilk is that she wants to think for you, too.

Nothing scary about the woman. She's just not intelligent. She rambles on about politics when she has virtually no understanding of the issues. She just has a big mouth and a little brain. Nothing scary about it.

Well, if you love her so much, why don't you marry her? Oh wait, you can't!!!!!! lol. I'm not afraid of Rosie. I just think she's an idiot. Nobody likes her because she makes a fool of herself. She doesn't handle her opinions well. She just spews out whatever comes to mind without thinking through how to tell it without looking like an idiot.
