The constitution says that the right to own guns is unalienable, as in the law is protected. they cannot outlaw guns. Would you disarm the public if your superiors told you to? because you don't have to obey them if the law is not legal in accordance with the constitution.

Why don't you let anyone into your home who wants to eat your food, sleep in your house, use your phone, (long distance no problem), steal from you or break any law without having to pay restitution, drive your car without a drivers license, get in an accident with your car without having to pay your damages, start a street gang in your neighborhood, drive by and shoot people in your neighborhood. And then demand that you provide all of these things or they will claim you are a racist if you won't provide everything and more. You see this country is not a big house looking to provide free services to whoever wishes to storm our borders. You can only fit so many people in a house to make it run smoothly.

A few months ago, my husband and I took our 2 year old daughter to the local ER. Because we couldn't get a sitter,
we brought our 3 year old, as well. The registration desk only asked my husband to sign our daughter in. He did. Normally, that wouldn't have been a problem. However, the hospital did not record any of the information off our insurance cards. So,
several bills arrived in my daughter's name. I opened them and called the places to provide them with insurance info.
They wouldn't even talk to me or take the information to bill
the insurance because I wasn't my daughter. I explained that she is only 2 and a half years old. They still wouldn't do anything because of the HEPA Law. I went back there and showed them her birth certificate and my photo id and the insurace info, still they said they couldn't discuss anything with me. Ideas or advice on what to do, please?

I think if gas was taxed 100%. people would think a little more small businesses would get exemptions and people might not be as wastefull as they are with un-renewable resources if they were paying twice as much for it.
look at the programs the government could start with that money like oh, say free health care for every one.

By SCOTT LINDLAW, Associated Press Writer
SAN JOSE, Calif - Investigators probing the friendly fire death in Afghanistan of former NFL star Pat Tillman found no criminal negligence, a government official said Monday.
The findings end a yearlong inquiry into the conduct of members of Tillman's platoon who opened fire on him in April 2004.
A separate investigation, also due to be released Monday, looked at everything that happened after Tillman's death, including allegations of a coverup. That investigation will recommend that nine officers, including up to 4 generals, be held accountable for missteps in the aftermath of Tillman's April 2004 death, senior defense officials told The Associated Press, also on condition of anonymity.

need the Gore family "media machine." The Democrats basically "own" the media today. Obama would not want to be her sideshow. Do you think Elizabeth Edwards knows this and that is why she won't quit the campaign?

I have to admit that I'm having trouble understanding Republicans who loved to use the term "flip-flopper" back in 2004 but see no reason to apply it to Romney. Less than three years ago? Pro-choice, gay friendly, pro gun control. Now? Anti-choice, gays want special rights and he's anti gun control. Please, in all seriousness, can you explain how he is not an opportunist and a flip-flopper himself? No one who supports him ever seems to address this.

Great study from Harvard on the media in the latest Hezbollah conflict.

I for one believe the media should be unbiased, yes I know that sounds naive in light of reality, but they should. What I find dispicable is what they did over there and it makes me doubt them even more today that I did then.
