No, he did little to end it, and gets too much credit.
USSR internally fell apart because of its policies that failed. It would of fell no matter who was in office.

Yes it was the introduction of the Pershing II, Star Wars and other programs that pushed the Soviet economy to the brink of collaspse as they forced the Russians to try and counter them. Secondly, Reagan's confrontational foreign policy kept the Russians diplomatically on the defensive during much of the 1980's. Before the Russians were flying high with the inept Carter administration and post-Vietnam America.
Recent releases of Warsaw pact and Soviet documents prove beyond a shadow of a doubt Reagan put the Soviets on a bad footing.

No. Mikhail Gorbachev helped end it also. By being willing to talk with President Reagan he helped bring the Cold War to an end.

NOPE! It was the expensive war in Afghanistan and the bankruptcy of the Soviet Union that started during the Breshnev years and finally Gorbachov, a moderate, that ended the Soviet Union Communist system. REagan just put our country more into debt and let the military industrial corporations make billions in profits at the tit of the federal government with the arms buildup.

Pope John Paul II had more to do with it than anyone. His visit to Poland helped to bolster the Solidarity movement leading to the eventual collapse of the Soviet system.

NO, OF COURSE NOT.
The Soviet Union collapsed because of GORBACHEV not REAGAN.
A simple thought experiment proves that Reagan did not cause the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The fact that North Korea, China, Iran, and Cuba did NOT collapse are perfect proof that Reagan's belligerence was NOT the cause of what happened to the Soviet Union.
If Stalin had still been in charge, the Soviet Union would NOT have collapsed.
