The constitution says that the right to own guns is unalienable, as in the law is protected. they cannot outlaw guns. Would you disarm the public if your superiors told you to? because you don't have to obey them if the law is not legal in accordance with the constitution.

We are headed in the direction of a police state. there are supreme court cases where they are trying to make guns illegal. and i am talking about going door to door disarming people. it will happen soon, especially if hillary or rudy is elected.

its a hypothetical, and it is totally possible, and the amendment cannot be repealed, because it is an unalienable right, as are all of the amendments in bill of rights.

NO. If that were ever legislated, you would see an uprising like this country has never seen before.

The Right to own a gun is one thing. The Right to own a gun for a person shooting people or commiting a crime is another. For the most part law enforcement does not go door to door to take your guns away, but I think a person would take a gun away not because someone told them too but because there could be a threat not only to the officers but the people themselves. The right to bear arms does not mean the right to commit robbery, or kill because you have them. I've never seen a police officer come to my dads door and beat it down because he has hunting rifles. I don't see anything wrong with guns being registered. And I don't think violent felons should be able to own one. It is my opinion and all of us have them.

This is a ridiculos and loaded question. I was a Sheriffs' officer for years on 3rd shift. I had to disarm numerous people.

If you are implying that police are going to go door to door and take away your guns....get a grip.

This is not a police state. The constitution provides for the right to keep and bear arms, it does not provide for them to be utilized for the purpose to do harm or commit crime.

If the second amendment were to be repealed that question would have to be addressed. Since that isn't going to ever happen, your question is moot.

Thanks for admitting your question was moot from its inception. You made my point for me. Thanks.
