I think that questioning one's support of the troops has become a distractionary technique that certain individuals use to invoke emotional responses rather than rational thought. I think that there are those who are trying very hard to cover an agenda which has neither the American public interest nor that of the soldiers sworn to fight for the American people. The agenda is to divide the soldiering and policing class of our society from the society it is supposed to protect and get them to support the hierarchical structure of commercialism. The president and vice presidents actions are not about our community. They are not about equality, nor are they about freedom. It is all about an extremely oppressive hierarchical system of power and domination. It is not about Democracy, it is about money, it is about capitalism a game that certain individuals dominate and want to continue on a world wide game board. The really sh*tty thing is that this selfishness and greed, is all being done

I would say Bush but you say he is cheneys puppet. The man rigged two elections, masterminded 9/11, convinced a nation into going to war, hired people who seem to be loyal to the end, rewritting the bill of rights, making tons of money from every illegal means you can think of and is still holding public office. I dont know about you but I think that is one hell of a resume?

Its always popular to protest against war and want troops to be home. But what I dont ever here from these people is what is the next step. Do they think that once the US leaves Iraq that the world will be one happy go lucky safe place again? If they believe that then they really are dreaming. So all of you who are antiwar and bring the troops home supporters, what exactly do you think the next step should be? Do you expect the Taliban and Al Queda and all those other groups to start playing nice now that we are gone?

mass persuasion really creepy? He's been pushing this whole 'fix the planet bit' and he put forth a lot of outrageous ideas for fixing global warming, and to get everyone to go along with it he purposed 'mass persuasion'.

Do you think that fixing global warming will end up putting the earth before the rights of it's inhabitants? It scares me that something we might not have anything to do with will end up taking over our lives. Have you thought about what will happen if government tries to enforce fixing global warming? Telling you what you can drive, how many kids you can have, ect?

P.s. Al Gore looks like he's gone insane.

suddenly announces his resignation? Bush has to protect himself. Part of that "protection" is to remain ignorant that ahe knew what Gonazles was doing.
Ah. Washington.
So predictable.

WASHINGTON, March 24 — An accumulating body of evidence is at odds with the statements of Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales that he played little role in the deliberations over the dismissal of eight United States attorneys.

Gonzales Met With Advisers on Dismissals.
Mr. Gonzales has said he did not take part in any discussions of the dismissal effort, and left the planning and execution of the removals up to D. Kyle Sampson, his former chief of staff.

But e-mail messages and other documents released by the Justice Department in recent days suggest that Mr. Gonzales was told of the dismissal plan on at least two occasions, in 2005 when the plan was devised and again in late 2006 shortly before the firings were carried out.

We need to keep child predators off the streets and away from our children. Why would anyone be against a 25-year minimum? Frankly, I think they should be executed, but why not at least lock them up where they can't harm another child?

I'm sincerely interested in hearing the opposing point of view. And please - no politicizing. BOTH parties have pedophiles - neither side is *any* better than the other.

This should be a non-partisan issue.

at a particular nightclub which was advertised as 18+, showed my legal government issued I.D. and went inside. 10 minutes later police raided the bar and discovered that 21 year olds had been purchasing alcohol and consuming it in the same room as the minors. as a result they kicked out the 21 year olds, and placed all 117 remaining minors under arrest for 1. loitering at a bar, and 2. possesion of alcohol by a minor. Now the club was well adverstised as being 18+ and I paid to enter. Does the loitering charge make sense? Secondly, no officer can have claimed to see me touching any alcohol, nor was I ever at a table with alcohol present. Finally, while I do not doubt that minors were drinking, it is my belief that they had wrongfully obtained wristbands, as I had not seen anyone with a wristband drinking. Can they arrest 117 people on the same charges, even when they know only a small minority partook in the action, and wouldnt go through any process to determine who did?
