What is the history is US foreign policy in the 20th century?

i just need summaries of the different phases in US foreign policy in the 20thcentury. (1900-1999).

Please specify, what exactly do u want, 100 years is a long time, do you want a general summary?

If you put an additional detail I will respond.

Basic overview: We got a little imperialistic in the Carribean, WWI, End of Imperialism, League of Nations, a whole bunch of anti-war promises, WWII, Cold War. Cold War comprised of a lot of "hot wars" or wars where we fought with weapons instead of words, like korea and vietnam.

So that's the foreign policy overview. It's mainly been war, but those are just the categories. There are economic details, but most of our foreign policy has been stances on various enemies. NO ISOLATIONISM we stopped that last century. We were slightly imperialistic at the start of the century, which is different from isolationism.

The US has help to install more dictators around the world than every other country put together. After the dictators went solo, the US spent time, money, and lives to remove these same dictators. The US partnered with wonderful people in the past such as:

Osama Ben Ladin
Saddam Hussein
Fidel Castro
Manuel Noriega
Roberto Suazo Cordova
and many others...
