Al Gore refused to sign a pledge from Rep. Inhofe to reduce his energy usage to the national average within a year. He also refused to answer 6 criticisms Rep. Inhofe made of Global Warming. He also refuses to give up eating meat and become a vegetarian even though he claims the meat industry is destroying the environment. Why is Al Gore doing so much to dodge Rep. Inhofe and others?

Its amazing how much more open a liberals eyes are when THEIR party is not in the White House. Plenty of scandal, bad policy, etc. was going on during the Clinton years and there wasn't this level of hatred for the President. Conservatives criticized him, but never hated. Liberals hate anyone who has a different opinion. Hate is a powerful word and a powerful emotion and I am not sure liberals realize how inappropriate that is right now. During a war. From a group who claims to be open-minded, tolerant, etc. that's pretty sad.

I have been looking at petitions for signing online and one person has asked for their petition to be signed for the following :

"Smoking whilst driving is very dangerous and many accidents and dangerous driving is caused by people smoking cigarettes at the wheel, which causes distraction and also inability to manage the car properly. Mainly due to ill steering around corners for fear of burning the car with the cigarette or only using one hand.

Smoking whilst driving should be banned and treated the same as using a mobile phone when driving."

Personally I say that (apart from my mobile phone - which I completely agree with not being allowed to use whilst driving) I can use and do what I like in the car that I pay my hard earned cash for - in the 16 years since I passed my test I have not had any accidents because I have been smoking

As in taking away his Foreign Policy Powers to start wars ? Let the President on concern himself with Domestic affairs, Congress could appoint a person to look out for Foreign affairs. That way if we are in a unpoular war we can get out by Congress can just fire him. And Congress could only blame themselves when we get into a War. It would stop so much whining in Politics, What do you think ?

I hate to sound desperate, but, I looked in every area I know, I am stumped.

I need to set up a presentation with these questions so people can understand them. My trouble is I find parts of information but not every thing. please help....
Here are the questions.

1) The statutory authority for the creation of federal law enforcement agencies.

2) The Office of the United States Attorney

3) Discuss the difference between the federal agent vs. a state or local law enforcement officers.

4) What is the source of federal law as opposed to state/local law?

5) Identify and explain the role of the U.S. Attorney in the federal criminal process.

6) describe The structure of the federal judiciary,


7) How is the decision made as to when a crime is investigated/prosecuted as a federal matter rather than a state one? Does it make sense to have dual criminal statutes in both systems which cover the same offense?
