A Neo-Con is a type of former Democrat that left the party after the Woodrow Wilson/FDR/LBJ Democrats lost control of the party to the "New Left" of McGovern in the 60s. They were known as Paleo-Liberals before they left the Democratic Party. Obviously, that fact isn't to the liking of the Neo-Cons at all.
