mass persuasion really creepy? He's been pushing this whole 'fix the planet bit' and he put forth a lot of outrageous ideas for fixing global warming, and to get everyone to go along with it he purposed 'mass persuasion'.

Do you think that fixing global warming will end up putting the earth before the rights of it's inhabitants? It scares me that something we might not have anything to do with will end up taking over our lives. Have you thought about what will happen if government tries to enforce fixing global warming? Telling you what you can drive, how many kids you can have, ect?

P.s. Al Gore looks like he's gone insane.

Insane? No, that won't happen. He's not too bright, but he's perfectly sane. It's all about control. If they can control what you drive and are taught, they can control your life.

Don't let liberals (i.e. communists) take over the world with their overrated deception. Their bag of tricks is nothing more than crap made to look like candy.

Don't forget that Mars and all the other planets in the solar system are warming up as much as we are. Add to that the fact that the world's termite population creates more methane than the entire United States (no joke!), and you start to realize that all his message is, is a bunch of political bunk.

Also note that many countries such as Canada and Czechoslavakia say that global warming is one of the most dangerous myths in history.

Gore is right about fixing the planet, but about global warning he is out of his depth. As far as global warning is concerned, Hey!!! what ever will be will be, nothing Gore or anybody else can do, will change the outcome. But about cleaning up our act and fixing the planet there is a lot we can do, but the whole world is going to have to work together, China Russia and India, are the worst offender, and Western Europe and USA have greatly contributed in the past, but for the future we have to recognize that we now need to work together to fix the planet for future generations. In my opinion the number one issue is to cut back on the worlds population. We need to depopulate the planet probably by two thirds, for the planet to make sense for future life to survive equitably.

Mother Nature has a funny (and deadly) habit of striking back when she is abused.
We ARE putting a lot of gunk into her space, and even if it is not causing Global Warming, she doesn't like it.
What's wrong with trying to have a clean and healthy environment, never mind what Gore says?
It's plain common sense, except for those money-hungry idiots who are making billions from burning oil, coal, etc.

Your words:
'Telling you what you can drive, how many kids you can have, ect?'
Global Warming = Telling you how many kids you can have?
WTF?
And:
'putting the earth before the rights of it's inhabitants?'
What kind of logic is that? If we don't look after the Earth, there will be no inhabitants. Get it?

Even Bush, in one of his lucid moments, has admitted that something has to be done.

His idea of preserving enviroment is just as normal as of the
every other guy, And fixing global warming sholud be a priority
before a man's right to drive a gass gustler, flush his toilet 44 times a day, bath every 2 secs. The birth limitation that you sugested is riduculous , hasn't got anything to do with g.w directly. Sustained choice yes , if that doesn't work , FORCED
choice by the state. For the better future , before it's too late.

Well the way I look at it if someone is going to be preaching to me, be it religion or any other thing, in this case global warming then they better be practicing what they preach. As for his electric bills I haven't seen any concrete evidence that they are outrageous.
However flying from coast to coast wasting Jet fuel to preach to the world about global warming is ridiculous. It's just adding to the problem. If he was truly concerned he hold video conferences. It would do much less harm to the global atmosphere. Or maybe have people flying on his jet... like Jet pooling!!
NOT Listening to AL until he practices what he preaches..

You are right on target with your assessment of the matter. Al Gore is a key member of the Illuminati. His man-made global warming theory is a lie.

Are you so dense that you think that fixing global warming would be worse for humanity that NOT fixing it? Do you not get the whole point?

And Al Gore has ever proposed telling people how many kids they can have as a solution to global warming. That's ridiculous.

30 some odd years ago, we were warned about an energy crisis due to running out of oil. Now we are at war over it because nobody was inspired enough to want to change the world to exist without depending on oil. Nobody wanted to buck the oil industry. To my way of thinking, these two issues are bound together. We have to find new sources of energy.
Its not an option.

Go drink some more mercury out of the faucet! Any while your at it suck on the end of a tail pipe, or how about buying a new couch and letting your children rub the flame retardant chemical all over their bodies. What Al Gore is doing is much more them GW is about a new revolution in thinking- making sustainable choices.

Actually you are looking at it the wrong way. All of the things you fear the most are not allowed under the constitution and all of the other parts of what Gore wants will bring about a new industry in the nation. It won't hurt anything.
