Numerous laws were changed and new ones created that infringe or appear to infringe on civil rights after 9/11. These actions have angered a lot of people as well as increase skeptism and resentment of the Federal Government. Doesn't this complicate the work of law enforcement working to promote national security and ultimately create a security lapse?

Well basically I asked this question because I would want to get different views of the situation I’m about to give.

here we go, a man (no given name) owned a corner shop which is an old building and he does not want to lose business by closing the shop for repair, so when a hole appeared in the floor, he placed a board across it and to his employees to be careful.

However, one day a customer came into the shop to make a purchase and as she walked in the shop the board slipped and she fell down the hole and broke her leg. (Oh dear!)

In relation to the information provided, do you think that the customer (the lady that fell and broke her leg) has any legal right? If so, could you plz state. Give it a try, as I’m sure most of the people on here have a lost of experience, general knowledge or potentially experts with things like this. ;)

Why is this the stock response to doing anything the extreme right wingers disagree with? EVERYTHING "empowers terrorists" to these people. If you say it too much, people, it really loses its value.

After 8 years (well it will be 8 when this term is up) of lies, manipulation and dishonesty from our current disgraceful administration, is it possible for us to fix all the mistakes that have been made or has too much damage been done by the idiots currently in power?

Does their refusal or inability to do so indicate that they are too weak to form a successful democratic nation? ("Success" being more than just a couple of elections supervised by another country's army.)

I saw this on the science channel. They've had them for years. Runs off straight oxygen and leaves no pollution whatsoever. They're also talking about making it so it generates it's own pressurized air at the same time, so you'll never have to fill it up.

Shouldn't we have invested in this years ago instead? Instead of bickering about Global Warming and wasting time?

I have a lawyer who has represented me in four law suites filed over the last three years. The plaintiff has cost me over $50K defending myself. I have always won the court cases but can not recover any money because he declaired bankruptcy before starting these law suites. This person has now forged a documents (cut and pasted my signature) to start a new case. My lawyer asked for the original but he will not give them to us (because there is no original). He is asking the court to accept this copy as an original because "he says" he no longer has an original. In my state it is possable to use a copy of a contract as an original. He has lots of money (HIDDEN) so he and his family starts something new every time they loose a case. What can be done to stop him from filing another law suite against me? He is trying to break me financially. I would really appreciate your serious answer and help. Please Help if you can!
