Empowering Terrorism?

Question

Why is this the stock response to doing anything the extreme right wingers disagree with? EVERYTHING "empowers terrorists" to these people. If you say it too much, people, it really loses its value.

Conservatives have to chastise Liberals so often because the Libs seem to be perennially in a fog.

In an intercepted letter from terrorist Al-Zarkawi, he implored his followers to keep fighting, even though the cause looked hopeless. Coalition forces were making communications impossible, meetings were extremely dangerous, funding had dried up as the U.S. scrutinized bank accounts and money transfers, and U.S. weaponry seemed invincible.

However, Al Zarkawi had words of hope to his followers: inevitably, in every military conflict, stupid, naive "anti-war" demonstrators will derail support. All they had to do was tough it out. Even though they could no longer do much of consequence, they could still pull puny, cr@ppy little stunts like blowing up buses a few blocks from where they lived. They just had to give the impression that they were still strong, and American resolve would evaporate.

Now, a Liberal will read these words, and when you ask him what course of action we should follow, he.... wihout any sense of irony..... says exactly what Al Zarkawi wants them to say! The Liberal will talk about an irresponsible withdrawl of troops, enabling the terrorists to win by default.

What is wrong with the Liberal brain? It's like telling a child a hundred times to wipe his feet before coming in the house, but he never seems to remember. Why, when Liberals read what Al Zarkawi says, do they go right ahead and fall blindly into Al Zarkawi's trap? Do they need a lesson in remedial thinking? Are they stupid?

Seriously, what the heck is wrong with them???

Do you really think that setting a date of withdrawal does not "empower the terrorists?" They'll circle the date on their calendars for a victory celebration.

Added note: Someone should tell the far left liberals that "if you say it too much, it really loses its value."
