I remember her giving a campaign speech at Marshall University 15 years ago for her husband. She was incredibly articulate and well read. Neocons have been bashing her ever since. Why do neocons hate a genius that happens to be a member of the Democratic party?

If you called a poor black person a similiar derogatory name, you would likely end up in jail for a hate crime!

But yet calling certain white people "rednecks" or "hillbillys" doesn't elicit any outrage.

I have an online friend who says she has lived in the U S for 15 years. She also has a child who was born there. She is married, but her husband wants to keep the child and send her back to her country of origin. She thinks she has to leave the US and her child. Is this true? And what could/should she do to legally stay permanently?
Her husband controls the money too - Where can she get free help?

Yes, you CAN say whatever you want. And I can say whatever I want in return. So please stop acting like, just because I respond to what you say, I am trying to prohibit you from exercising your First Amendment rights. If that's the best response you can come up with, then you don't know how to take advantage of your First Amendment rights.

Rather than putting a bill on the floor of the House that requires and Up or Down vote on the Iraq War funding with nothing else attached, these traitors stuff the bill with pork trying to attract the pigs in their party who would otherwise not support this cowardly ammendment. Democrats the party of appeasers and terrorist buttsniffers.

I like this country, but i don,t think is the best for working class with low incomes.I'm considered myself middle-class,and i think this is the best country by far,but this country is not good for everyone.I will say that Europe is better for low-income families:free health care, paid vacation, governament support, public trasportation...

Former Deputy Interior Secretary J. Steven Griles pleaded guilty Friday to obstruction of justice in a Senate committee's investigation, becoming the highest-ranking Bush administration official convicted in the Jack Abramoff corruption scandal.

The former No. 2 official in the Interior Department admitted in federal court that he lied to the Senate about his relationship with convicted lobbyist Abramoff, who repeatedly sought Griles' intervention at the agency on behalf of Abramoff's Indian tribal clients.

Ahmadinejad reminds me of President Bush. He will do as he wishes.Neither of them like to be pushed into a corner. Now the neoconservatives are clamoring for the US to attack Iran. Even John Bolton (remember him?) is part of the group. If it has to be done, I still can't understand why Israel can't make the first move. They have the military. They also have the weapons; plenty of them.
Why put OUR troops in another situation where they are in harm's way? Let Israel do it. Iran is more of a threat to Israel than to the United States. (even though , I know, the U.S. is always hooked to Israel, one way or another)
Nevertheless, I really believe that Ahmadinejad has something up his sleeve.

There was a crime in my neighborhood. It has gone unsolved. It looks like no one cares. I want to offer money for someone to tell the police what they know about it. What would be effective wording? Should I ask for information leading to an arrest or for helpful informaiton? Or, any other wording?

No, that would be a horrible reason to elect someone, so why is that part of her campaign? It will have NOTHING to do with her performance as president (not that she will win)

Laws are passed by the powerful and privileged to protect, serve and help the powerful and privileged. Anyone who does anything to the detriment of the powerful, privileged group will be dealt with by the justice system and sent to prison, or killed.

Laws are imposed through force on those considered weaker.

Why is it considered "bad" when the weak ones fight back through the only means they have: raw violence? Why is it good when the system created by the rich & powerful kills a man for opposing it, but it is bad when someone decides to fight back using raw violence?

Legality is nothing but a thin cover on "might is right." Terrorism is the name given by those who enjoy privilege to the attempts by the weaker groups to undermine their power.

here's my intro: Medical malpractice is acclaimed to be one of the leading causes of death and injury in the U.S. to date. More people die from medical negligence than highway carwrecks. Should doctors get away with causing possible permanent damage to a patient and receive a mere "slap on the wrist" as punishment? Some sources claim doctors like to settle the lawsuit outside of the courtroom so that their names aren't tainted by the media with negative remarks that way they can continue business. Others claim it isn't negligence on the doctor's part but instead the patient's. using this can someone give me a better way of continuing my efforts in writing this paper?
