Yes it is doing great damage. The myth everyone just wants a better life is just that a myth. Given the amount of Mexican gangs in Calif ,the amount of drugs, the amount of fraud, the amount of child briths are at an all time high whereas the father is long gone. Considering that our open borders policy is bringing us higher taxes and urban anarchy (25% of L.A. prison inmates are illegal aliens), bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals (forced to curtail public emergency medical services), record profits for the drug cartel, and a national security danger in an age of international terrorism, should we really be surprised that more and more of our towns and cities are becoming like Baghdad? Welcome to the new multicultural and Balkanized America. And it's no longer just border states. The rot has spread to suburban and even rural areas throughout the entire nation. What's going on in the small town of Hazleton,PA (population 30,000)is not unusual.

The cost far outweighs any benefit. The cost of educating the children of illegals alone is enough to bring property taxes to levels that many older (and dedicated) Americans cannot afford. It is sad how the American people are being forced to assume this burden (among so many others that Congress and local governments place on them).

If this country does not eliminate the incentives (and opportunity) for individuals to come here ILLEGALLY, we may as well concede that we have already lost this war. Our government has no resolve and refuses to protect our long term best interests. It is sad to acknowledge that this generation will be the first to witness America's decline. We are spending ourselves into a hole which will take decades from which to emerge. Illegal immigration and its costs only contribute to the problem.

Yes and Yes it already has ruined the southwest. The big corporates want all of us to believe that cheap goods and cheap labor are much more worthwhile than safe and clean neighborhoods, functioning public resources, standards of education, quality of life, etc......once the entire country becomes Mexico and the rest of Latin America, the corporates of U.S. would just move to their overseas locations.

There hasn't been a city that hasn't been destroyed by way of a majority of illegals. I unquestionably have yet to be certain any progression in any of them. I examine an editorial in our newspaper some days in the past approximately Latinos and their communities in contact approximately Latino subject concerns.......they have been to blame for like seventy 5% of the upward thrust in inhabitants and have been desiring to press for greater on the grounds that blacks and whites have been leaving in checklist numbers. not loss of life....leaving. not something approximately why...or how can we paintings greater effectual for greater integrated neighborhoods, it replaced into the thank you to lead them to absolutely latino areas. Now in a pair many years are we going to have compelled busing for greater racially different colleges and all that.....lower back. Wasn't sufficient found out the final time around? Run those cities into the floor and then pass directly to smash the subsequent? i detect it humorous gangs can declare their territory and run people out yet voters are so undesirable while they assume our borders respected and rules obeyed. it rather is not sufficient to be here or join a community....they like all of it. inspite of their own math they admitted that like 40% have been legal and something unlawful. and that they call us racist?

la sucked to begin with and i am sure that if this s h i t continues the southwest will suck also. the real problem is that the southwest is worth saving, we won those lands legitimately by defeating the mexicans in combat. they signed the treaty, so the land is ours. their claim to the land was negated about 160 years ago by their own signature.

No, LA and The SW can be ruined by people, but it will not be ruined by immigration (illegal or otherwise). New York seems to be doing well. It has had immigration as far back as the start of the US and it is one of the most prosperous cities in the world.
