He's best buds with Iran, Cuba, Colombian Guerrillas, Lybia etc ... Why aren't we doing something about it?

just because he COULD be doesnt mean we have to do something about it...every country in the world COULD be a threat

Chavez will not last. Alternative energy would be a great way to put this guy to rest very quickly (we can dream). He can only buy the poor of his country for so long. The country is crumbling, slowly, but surely. Venezuela will never know growth and prosperity with this Loser.

He can kiss foreign investment goodbye (probably not to include the lovely French).

Well since oil funds everything Chavez does and keeps him in power if the US (which imports most of his oil) were to stop buying all his oil he would lose all his power & would no longer be a problem. But as with most of the dictators in the world who owe their power to their oil & Americas huge dependency on it, nothing can be solved unless the US stops using so much oil.

because we still have VOTERS with enough sense to tell our rulers, that they have had enough with the LIES. Iran, Cuba, and Chavez is no more threat to our democracy , our privacy, and our rights than BUSH and his Neocon company.
