Comparing to the reality, does those things happens in reality?

It's pretty over the top. Most intelligence work is actually quite boring. The majority of information gained and analyzed is in fact open source (i.e. newspapers, radio, tv, etc.). The remainder (i.e. classified documents, govt. comm.) are mostly obtained through insiders. Actual missions are covert and confrontation is avoided. If it was any other way the counterproductive as the idea behind intelligence gathering is to minimize the evidence that the inel was gathered in the first place.

Hello? It is a TELEVISION SHOW...it is a product of a writers IMAGINATION.... Those are ACTORS playing the part that was written for them by the WRITER.
