I have a lawyer who has represented me in four law suites filed over the last three years. The plaintiff has cost me over $50K defending myself. I have always won the court cases but can not recover any money because he declaired bankruptcy before starting these law suites. This person has now forged a documents (cut and pasted my signature) to start a new case. My lawyer asked for the original but he will not give them to us (because there is no original). He is asking the court to accept this copy as an original because "he says" he no longer has an original. In my state it is possable to use a copy of a contract as an original. He has lots of money (HIDDEN) so he and his family starts something new every time they loose a case. What can be done to stop him from filing another law suite against me? He is trying to break me financially. I would really appreciate your serious answer and help. Please Help if you can!

The answers above are well intentioned, but pretty much send you down a useless path.

If the same plaintiff has brought four actions in a relatively short period of time and three have been dismissed and have been plainly frivolous, your attorney can file a motion or separate proceeding to bar the plaintiff from further filing of any court case without the consent of the presiding judge (or some other reviewing official).

That having been said, I don't understand how you would be able to recover money as a defendant, unless your legal actions are taking place in a country outside the United States, in which the loser pays the winner's legal costs... or unless you had counterclaims.

Send a complete draft with all the dates and facts, including the name of your attorney, his attorney, the address and court where the cases were held, the final outcome, etc., and send the letter to the American Bar Association.

Many times attorney use the whole idea of being apart of the legal system saying..."I have nothing to do with that" which is nonsense.

If you feel as though a wrong is being committed against you, chances are you are right. Write letters, to any and everyone within the legal system whom you may think is right and they will hand it over to whoever handles harassing law suits.

Good luck

that's certainly a Democrat it is submitting the lawsuit... he believes that Republicans will wait till purely in the previous the election and drop that bombshell. he's doing this to get that distinctive concern off of the table so as that something could be achieved (if % be) in the previous that's too late...

You have a lawyer right? He can answer this question as he knows all of the facts...If not it might be time to change representation.
