Over the last 300 hundred years, the US has been unable to define a foreign policy, should it turn to the EU in order for them to define a set of principles for them to adopt. It seems the only way is by the gun and bomb. Does this need a European solution?

I mean, they key elements of Christianity, like 'turn the other cheek' and 'thou shalt not kill' are hardly compatable with Republican policies on the death penalty, invasions in the middle east, and support for the gun/arms lobbies, right?

Someone please explain.

My friend has at least 4 instances where her husband has been threatening (not to physically harm her, just threatening to take things of hers) or has just appeared at her house and job. These have not been documented with the police but she has documented them herself. Can she get a criminal stalking order? Can she represent herself? She doesn't have enough money to get a lawyer to represent her. There are 5 or 6 documents that can be filled out. Any idea which is the right one? http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/spec_dockets/forms/StalkingOrderProtectionForms/

it looks like most crimes are commited by repeat offenders, right? because they were released or set free. track them?how you ask?if we could plant a gps device in theyre body, then when a crime takes place, or a poor innocent child is molested or kidnapped, we could kick up the gps criminal tracking system and locate repeat offenders dead in theyre tracks...

If the automatic program puts this in Politics, I'm gonna keep it there.

What has always impressed me since I started participating in verious chat borads is how much PERSONALITY comes through in the printed word. We do reveal a lot about ourselves - personal experiences, temperament, etc. - in addition to just answering the questions.

What are your thoughts on this? Are there posters whose "personalities" you like even though you disagree with their politics? Or, perhaps more importantly, vice-versa? Do people get too "chummy" here - does it affect awarding a best answer? (Is that a bad thing? Since Yahoo added the "contacts" feature the same people's questions show up.)

Do you feel grateful when people spend the time to answer your questions? I do. Do you agonize over being "fair" in awarding the best answer? Do you wish you could split the points sometimes?

Am I thinking about this too much?

Any answers welcome. Thanks.

Yes he is cute, but come on!!! He cannot sing. It is a singing competition. It is not only based on looks, it is also based on talent. Let's face it, he has no talent. We need to find out a way to get people to vote him off, or just stop voting period!!!!!!!!!!

All these conservatives have stated that they agree with Al Gore and with the overwhelming majority of climate scientists -- Global warming is real and is caused by human activity.

Do you think this group of conservatives, liberals, and scientists are correct?

What on EARTH does she wants to discuss? I woke up in a sweat of a nightmare with Hillary knocking on my door talking about 'she wanna have a conversation with me' I had to sleep with my lights on for the rest of the night!

Say NO to Hillary and her conversations. She should have had those conversations with her close international friends in 2002 when she voted for that ill advised war then backed the war AGAIN 2 years later. NOW she wants to talk about it. Why don't she talk about it with the families of all those brave Soldiers that lost their love ones in Iraq.

Hillary, the conversation is OVER! BACK UP!

Just wondering if a person begins getting paid immediately upon being shipped off to boot camp. Or is there a waiting period? Or do they have to wait until after boot camp?

Right well basically I went out to celebrate my 21st bday with some friends, we had too much to drink. Left the club we were in due to this but stopped off in a shop on the way home, whilst we were in there we started acting very child-like. Throwing things at each other, the shopkeeper grabbed my friend and we tried to calm the situation down. Somehow we ending up getting into a little scrap with him, the police were passing and we were arrested for assault and criminal damage(to stock).
No history of violence for any of the 3(of us), first offences, what do you think our punishment will be?

I know it was very stupid and believe me its the first time I have ever hit out or even argued! Brought upon by myself
