Please explain the type of crime and how your idea would help...

There is a growing public feeling that some of our politicians are very corrupt and have criminal background. Still people have tremendous faith in the democratic system of governance and this system has taken deep roots in our country. What are the reasons for this paradox?

The real reason that we can't have the Ten
Commandments in a Courthouse! You cannot post "Thou
Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,"
and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile
work environment! And every one knows the ACLU won't allow that.

They said if I take defensive driving it won't go on my record. My question is, if I just pay the ticket and don't do defensive driving, will it go on my record even if my license is in another state?

And see that the other side aren't horrible conservative monsters out to steal your freedoms and eat your children and horrible liberal flip-floppers who want to hand the country over to Osama Bin Laden and the Communists?

Do people REALLY forget that we're all one country and that we all have the same goal-to see this country flourish, grow and prosper?

Yes we have different ideals on how to do it but we're all AMERICANS.

Doesn't that garner some respect, some unity rather than simply division?

Fact is, there only gonna serve 1 life, so do they get the rest off for good behavior? ☺ Who really benefits from excessive assignments of punishment? Does a judge or lawyer somewhere out there get a hefty bonus by the ammount of punishment they grant/get approved?

I say, "Let the punishment fit the crime, however, lets keep it real!"

I went to use a coupon @ subway today and the cashier/owner really ticked me off and embarassed me... saying i told him i ordered the wrong stuff, then after i ordered AGAIN, he was like "i need more money." and after i gave him the money he was like "i cant let you have this sandwich"... usually id just never return.. but since i always used to go to this place i felt embarassed and betrayed. What should i do to his store/his home?

My company used to have shows during weekends whenever there is occasion in Sg. We are entitled a leave compensation if we help during the show on weekend. As I understand from my HR, the compensation leave have to be cleared within that particular month and we are not allow to carry forward next month as it is stated under labour law. Can anybody advise me on the Section in the labour law book pertaining to the matter! How many days of leave compensation do we have if we work for Saturday and Sunday (as my company is only a 5 days week co).

Just recently I was watching the news and several young recruit G.I. Joes were asked by a reporter what were the reasons for them to want fight in Iraq? I was astonished to hear their replies, and I paraphrase... They attacked us on 9/11. Or that the terrorists hate our way of life. Excuse me!? Why do adults keep telling these poor young people these lies? The American way of life existed for 200 plus years before 9/11
And Islamic Terrorism The truth is that America has been siding with bad governments and maniacal dictators, criminal presidents and a racist foreign policies for so long that one day people just got tired of their B.S and decided to fight back?
