I went to use a coupon @ subway today and the cashier/owner really ticked me off and embarassed me... saying i told him i ordered the wrong stuff, then after i ordered AGAIN, he was like "i need more money." and after i gave him the money he was like "i cant let you have this sandwich"... usually id just never return.. but since i always used to go to this place i felt embarassed and betrayed. What should i do to his store/his home?

Don't do anything immature or stupid that could end up getting you in trouble with the law; instead, be a pro-active consumer and file a complaint with Subway via the following link:

http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/Applications/CustServ/frmCustomerService.aspx

Be specific in your complaint and it will be forwarded to the store owner/cashier that was such a jerk and even though he is a franchise, the Subway retains records of all complaints...if enough people complain because he is not treating them right, they will do something about it. Many times, the Corporation will send you a coupon for a free item, but I would not recommend going back to that place...take your coupon elsewhere, which is a double burn on him as they may debit him for the item/coupon.

Go to subway.com and click on the ASK US link at the bottom of the page. It will go to the place where you can fill out an online form to send in your comments/complaints to the corporate office. You'll need to know the store # or location, and it would help if you knew the rude employee's name. This is the mature way to handle a problem like this. the worker will probably get a severe reprimand, and maybe he'll learn to be nicer to customers.

We all need to be kinder to one another in these times, and we should not have to tolerate this from people whose livelihood depends on our business. So don't feel bad about reporting him, he deserves it.

You shouldn't do anything to his store/home, unless you'd like to see what the inside of a jail cell looks like. I'd first suggest that you complain to the manager. If that doesn't solve the situation, go on the web and contact the national headquarters and voice your concerns there. If that fails, get a permit from the city and picket the store.
