Liberals, on hear at least, are always crying for the impeachment of Bush.

So, how is that coming for you guys? How many signatures do you have so far?

I know, it may be a LITTLE hard to impeach someone who hasn't done anything illegal, but KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! You Liberals are always known for fighting the impossible fight, so keep it up!

By the way, what charge are you guys trying to impeach him on? Preventing terrorist attacks, protecting America, or just not speaking too well at his state-of-the-Union?

Why would Yahoo try brainwashing their members with that crazy ad sponsored by 'her campaign exploration committee'? I almost fell down the stairs today with blurred vision after looking at that ad over and over and over again. I later had to rest for 10 minutes to regain my balance.

Yahoo! take that ad down. It's sickening!

Yep, its true. Global Warming is real to the extent that the Earth is in fact warming up.

The little white lie is the fact that we HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I was an MP assigned to CID as an Investigator for 18 months and a K-9 Handler, deploying to Iraq in 04'. I have a Law Enforcement job that makes it very difficult to attend drills and definitely cannot go to schools. I am also not in compliance with military regs. do to my job, I work UC. If I stay with my current Unit they will make me re-enlist for another 5 yrs. and deploy me again as soon as I get done with ASAC and WOC school, which will cause financial hardship to my family as I make a lot more with my civilian job, not to mention the stress on my family. What chances do I have of entering IRR and not being recalled. I have known guys that have been released for job situations, but not sure how to do it.

Leftists claim to be protecting the rights of the poor against the rich, the weak against the strong, etc. As Bill Barnwell put it, "personal consciences would do well to consider the real nature of abortion: an aggressive, irresponsible act which denies personal freedom, liberty and justice to a weaker and inconvenient class of people." Isn't "pro-choice" inconsistent with leftism then?

OK .. here's the way it works:
1. Steve learns to weld.
2. Steve would rather be an artist than working in a machine shop
3. Steve obtains some scrap metal and starts welding it together in odd shapes which he declares to be art.
4. Steve can't find anyone who will voluntarily pay for the piles of scrap metal he has welded together.
5. Steve changes his name to Stephano and drops his last name.
6. Still nobody will buy Stephano's art, though there is one Buckhead matron who has taken a rather prurient interest in some of Stephan's other talents.
7. The Buckhead matron allows Stephano to place a pile of scrap metal in her garden and begins to refer to it as a sculpture.
8. Buckhead socialites, after encountering Stephano's "sculpture", and desiring to pander to the matron's artistic tastes, decide that Stephan is being greatly wronged because nobody will pay him for his artistic efforts.

am trying to a find a nice apartment with low rent for me and my 9month old daughter. Its really important to me that they are safe and i had a crime report sent to me on a particular apartment (Towne Oaks in North Richland Hills Texas) and dont know if the amount of incidents are average or high.

I would hate to sign a lease and get stuck somewhere miserable.

How much incidents/reports is normal for a safe apartment complex? 1 p/month? 3? 5? 10? 20?

My son is up on charges that seem false. He was recently arrested for cashing a travellers check, and now out of the blue he is picked up again on 2 felony charges. The items were returned to the store as requested by the state troopers and then this occurs. What is wrong with the system? It used to be innocent till proven guilty, now it seems that its guilty til proven innocent.

Why would anyone belive this? Do libs just jump on any bus that runs by? Al Gore? Why listen to this chipmunk? He invented the internet so you could do your own research. By the way I need a 4 million $ grant to look into the possible problem blenders are causing on the rotation of our planet. This could be a very big problem causing the earth to slow down or speed up its rotation.(Depending on the direction that the blades spin).

Hello all Lawyers (no police or politicians wouldn't trust you guys at all. Mainly as not in your interest), your know what I'm getting at. Is it illegal to park a car on a road, with the vehicle being stationary and not have the number plates visable. Is this legal as the car is not moving? What are the Laws depicting a parked car that is taxed and insured? (cannot spell as been abused before for this.)

Analysts and others read the tea leaves after every election - "is liberalism on the rise?" "Are voters turning conservative?"

But how much of it depends on the PERSONALITY of the candidates?

Witness the enthusiasm for Obama, and the Fred Thompson boomlet. Part of it is the (perceived) positions of the candidates, but isn't a lot of it just a search for a certain honest, plain-spoken, guy or gal - a good alpha dog? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Kennedy/Nixon. Reagan/Carter. Clinton vs Bush and Dole.

Really, does history turn on policy, or personality? Or, more precisely, how much of both? And after you answer that, tell us what you think of the state of affairs you see.

This should really be in the psych section. Thanks!

While on the one hand we invade a country, claiming we want to rid that country of a ruthless dictator and offer those people a chance at democracy. Then on the other hand we have a government with close family and/or business ties to countries with ruthless ruling dictators like Angola and Saudi Arabia.

Is it any wonder the message we send to the world isn’t as wholeheartedly embraced as it once was? Is it any wonder that our motives are suspect and this hypocrisy turns others against us? Creates more enemies than friends?

Are we now telling the world that the most trusted country in the world can no longer be trusted?

Will there ever be a time again, like there once was in Japan and Germany after WWII, when our efforts to help a struggling country re-build itself will be welcomed, without widespread resistance, because those people believe our government has their best interests at heart?

JFK, LBJ and the Clintons used the FBI to spy on their political opponents, played dirty tricks including the planting of false evidence and pysical intimidation. There is no outcry against this. Yet when Nixon did the same he was run out of office.

William Jefferson has $90,000 in bribe money in his freezer and he still is a Democrat Congressman. Duke Cunningham takes bribes and the Republican loses his congressional seat and is in jail.

Mark Foley and Dan Crane are both Republicans caught in sex with congressional page scandals. Gary Studds a Democrat is also caught in a sex with congressional page scandal. The Republicans are run out of office. The Democrats continues as a congressman.

This could go on and on. The question is why does both the media and the legal system treat Democrats differently than Republicans.
