Liberals, on hear at least, are always crying for the impeachment of Bush.

So, how is that coming for you guys? How many signatures do you have so far?

I know, it may be a LITTLE hard to impeach someone who hasn't done anything illegal, but KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! You Liberals are always known for fighting the impossible fight, so keep it up!

By the way, what charge are you guys trying to impeach him on? Preventing terrorist attacks, protecting America, or just not speaking too well at his state-of-the-Union?

Not going well. They are still waiting for Bush to break a law, or to find evidence that he lied about something.

C'mon coragryph. A wee bit of a stretch, don't you think?

Administrations often have court decisions reverse policy, but that's not considered a "high crime" under the Constitution.

Judge Robertson, USDC D.C. ruled in Hamdan's favor, the Court of Appeals D.C. Circuit unanimously reversed Robertson's decision and a divided Supreme Court reversed the Court of Appeals.

That amounts to a "high crime"?? Now, if the Bush Administration ignored the decision, then you'd have a case. There are legitimate arguments on both sides (not in your book, of course) and the Administration has complied. So, there's no impeachable offense.

As to politics, Clinton lied under oath and the overwhelming majority of Democrats rose to his defense; but you let somebody like Gonzales so much as imply something different than what the Democrats expected and they fall all over themselves to announce their outrage and demand he resign.

Politics saved Clinton from being removed. Common sense is why no Articles of Impeachment have been filed against Bush.

Maybe history wasn't your strong suit. Maybe you weren't around for the Impeachment of Nixon. Taking those two facts into account--here's a much needed thought regarding your uneducated opinion.

The Nixon Impeachment took over a year to get started. Prior to his Impeachment there were hearings that acquired evidence that ultimately led to his resigning. All the while Nixon argued that the Congress's acts were crippling our Democratic Government.

Sound Familiar?

I don't what it is you read, saw on tv, swallowed or smoked to come to your conclusion, but I suggest you prepare your self for a complete disclosure of the illegal activities of the Bush Administration which will not only result in Impeachment, but a number of lenghty prison terms for he and his cronies.

One thing at a time. They're still trying to get to the bottom of the voter fraud in Ohio.

A little side note here, your spelling error is not your fault, you're a victim. Maybe you should "lawyer-up" and sue the school district which issued you your diploma, along with the Teacher's Union. They have failed you...justice needs to be served.

Since my son was born in 2001, there have been no more attacks in America. How about we elect my son?

I'm a conservative that would like to see Bush impeached. He's been running roughshod over the Constitution from Day One.

I believe 9/11 was an inside job--and an excuse to strip our liberties away.

I haven't been calling for his impeachment, because I know enough about the Constitution to know that he wouldn't be convicted.

You do realize that the impeachment process isn't about signatures, right? You have read the Constitution and understand that it's a Congressional action...

The issue isn't procedure. It's partisan politics. The Senate would never vote to convict because Republicans are going to support their candidate, regardless of what the law says.

For crying out loud, the Supreme Court has confirmed that Bush has violated federal criminal law. 18 USC 2441 (the federal War Crimes statute) See Hamdan v. Rumsfeld (2006).

What more proof could anyone want? So, it's not about the law. It's politics.

Gee, you mean all these *brilliant* political minds on YA really *don't* know it all?!? I'm stunned....

And to the first respondent, you are definitely in the minority. If you visit answers very often, you should be well aware that impeachment comes up almost daily.

I'm a liberal, "on hear," and I have never asked for the impeachment of George W. Bush.

Which proves that you are a liar.
