Yes.

There's always been terrorism, since the dawn of civilization. Prior to the past decade, we just called them criminals.

Killing one person or ten or a hundred is homicide. That's a crime. Whether you are bombing a medical clinic or a coffee house, we're always been able to handle that in criminal court before.

Maybe we do need a new law for killing thousands at one time. But it doesn't require discarding the entire criminal justice system and throwing away the Constitution in the process.

logic does not apply to the war. Only political motivation denouncing it is allowed.

We are not attempting to rid the world of terrorists in Iraq. However, we are attempting to not allow iraq to be another breeding ground for them.
