Feed them good nutrition, especially plenty of protein in diverse forms. Plus they need vegetables, also diverse. Think of colors. Brown and tan are meat and carbohydrates, grains and legumes. Green, yellow, orange, red are fruits and vegetables You need all the colors on your plate every day and at every meal, if you can. Fat and sugar should be a very small part of the meal. Even if every person in your family is short, they may not have grown to their full potential height because of lack of good nutrition. It is possible, with good nutrition, for your sons to grow taller than you. I've seen many immigrant families watch their children grow much taller than the rest of the family when they were born here or came at a young age and the families were able to feed them better than in their countries. There is hope.

No, it is in their genes, there is nothing you can do about it.
My father was 5'4" and his two sisters where 4'11" his younger brother was 5'6".
All the children in their families never got past 5'3" [ I, myself am 5'1".
If this has been going on for generations, then face it you are stuck with it.
Because I married a man that was 6'4" my kids where all taller then me....
Live with it.

Good nutrition before their birth and the mothers good health assure you a healthy child. Isn't that all you really want for your children to be healthy?
Height doesn't measure a mans worth !

no goof, it's in their genes. of course you can find a Dr that can help with that. the doc will hook the kids up to a device and stretch them by pulling their arms and legs. you should be ashamed of your self for even saying anything about your Babs. they are the way god made them. if you don't like it then leave. their momma will find someone else who will love them kids just as they are.

Sorry, that's genetics - unless you want to send them to China and get that surgery where they cut their shin bones and put in metal to add inches, but come on. The best thing you can do is make them be happy with themselves and teach them to be healthy.

I don't think so.
The best you can do is give them healthy foods, have them take a multivitamin everyday and hope for the best.

BTW There is nothing wrong with being 5'5

Nope. It is determined by their genes. If the males in your family are short, they will probably be short, too.

just think...in the leftist world of intolerance and collective sheepness, you and the other short people of your family will have to be exterminated due to the fact that you dont fit the mold for a person to be representative of their ideals...remind you of anyone..ohh, say around 1939 - 1945..????

I dunno if this will help but I'm quite certain that eating Long Beans will help a person grow taller; its especially usefull if you eat it since young cause I love long beans since I was young and my elder sis also eats them since she was young too and now I have grown taller than my dad and my sis is almost same height as my dad too! Oh and I'm now 1.71m tall now in my teens! :)
