I received probation after my ist felony with meth actually I had 2 felonys, but I will tell you that if you don't get help getting off of it and I mean NOW, it will carry you under and you will end up in prison as I did for 3 years or eventually dead!!! But yes if you have a good case, you can get probation depending on the state and the judge!!! Good luck

Meth users rarely if ever get probation. This is partially due to the fact that the meth problem is so rampant and and that the drug is considered so very dangerous. Being as the problems being brought upon the public by meth use are so vast, the public has no sympathy for the inbred dickslaps that produce, use and sell it.
My advice? Don't drop the soap, bonehead.

Only if they have gone and done the program, Rehab and do what they are told in the conditions of the probation
Went through the same thing with my son. After six months is fell off the restrictions and ended up back in jail.
It is all up to the person themselves.

In my state and surrounding states in the south, it is very common for people to be sentenced to probation for possession of methamphetamine. It is even common for those who cook and/or sell it to get probation if it's there first offense.
Admittedly, probation isn't very effective in getting the person to change, but that's the way the system works.

is it 11550 (under the influence) or possession? he still may be able to get probation. when i was arrested i got it for 11550 not possession and i got rehab and probation. also it depends on how many times he has been arrested.
