It effected absolutely everyone in one way or another either directly or indirectly and set a pattern of behavior in motion that incompasses every facet of every corner of the globe !!
(I know that you're looking for "responsible parties" here---but--THAT has been beat to death---and nothing will ever be known in full about it -- NOR-- will anything ever be done or ever could be done to correct it all----except maybe God seeing those Truly responsible to an infinate torment !!!!)
