Since I at one time directed a recyling program I make sure my purchases ensure I can either recyle the product or have the least waste possible and I encourage others to also that I know. But big Al seems to want me to cut my energy use at home, take a bus to work, etc while he lives the high life flying private planes, energy use 20 times the average homeowner, riding in limos (the last I checked were not green), etc. Except for someone like Ed Begley, Jr who lives his talk on being green the majority of libs in Hollywood and politics have no credibility. Buying carbon offsets is nothing, most of us can not afford to do it to offset out usage and if the danger is so close to 20 foot rise in the oceans, the whole ice pack melting, agricultural land being non-usable due to climate change, and countless animals becoming extinct it seems Gore would want to just show he really does believe this by not owning buying carbon offset but also fully reducing his enery use. TOO much to ask!!

I know that the sheriff dept. deals with the courts and the county outside the city limits and the police deal with things inside the city limits, but whats the differece beyond that?( i.e. Training, dutys, firearms, etc.)

why then can the atty general garnish my paycheck for child support for my then 16 yr year old, (now 28) that was in my custody and went to a youth commission facility and was a ward of the state for 1 yr , if you say there is no time jurasdiction?

Ca.put hold on Ga.driver's LN.because warrant.If I turned myself in at a local Sheriff office.Ca can't come get me less crime is punishable by I one in jail. Now, if that's correct and they can't. Do they have to drop hold on LN.and the warrant?By the way, I showed up for coart,wasn't on docket,bond company gave release on property back to sister.Then 8 years later Ca. put hold on LN.When I showed at on the day that I wasn't on docket, I signed in,they said they let me know but never did notified me.Went back to coart, (across street from sister)still no answers.then went home to Atlanta.Recently spoke to D.A. He said this won't ever go away til I get back to Lassen County. I can't lost job when LN.hold was placed,no money for Lawyer ether,recently devorced,so no assets to produce $$$.Please hit me with some way out of this.

I bit into a sandwich at favorite restaraunt. Suddenly, I felt a terrible pain in my mouth! I spit out my food and it had blood in it. A steel wire from the grill brush was in my sandwich and slashed my lip! I ran out of the restaraunt and my friend told the manager what happened. She gave him her card and comped the meal. I went to the hospital and got a tetanus shot. My mouth hurt! What should I do? What can I do?

Obama had denied any involvement and the consultant is now history, having either resigned or been shown the door, depending on who you believe. Obama is partially running on "clean" politics. How do you think this will affect his image, or do you think it will affect it at all? Do you think he will be able to convince people that he didn't approve of this message, or will the perception by some that he might have been involved ruin his image as being above this sort of thing? I personally think he probably didn't know about it, but I wonder how it will be perceived nonetheless. Thoughts?

The drugs/alcohol are out of control. He drives/drunk or high and avoids getting caught. He dissappears for days. He never pays taxes. He uses the Emergency Room as a doctors office and never pays the bill. He refuses drug treatment voluntarily. I am at the end of my rope. I want to see him stopped, but not go to jail. I want to see him court ordered into an inpatient rehab center, where he can get some help. How can I alert the authorities, so they can find him drunk driving or in posession of drugs, and know that the judge will NOT put him in jail, but order mandatory rehab?? I'll even pay for the rehab if it isn't too expensive. But, I need the court order to make sure he stays for the entire period. If he doesn't, then the judge can throw him in jail. Who do I contact at the state, county or township level to ASK for the Rehab sentence ahead of time??
My son is 25 y/o.

I didn't have enough space to finish the sentence. It should continue "makes it a crime to lie while making a statement that impacts on their public duties". I think such a law should apply at all levels of government from local to state to federal. The penalty should be a fine and community service such as cleaning up graffiti on walls.

Ok, I like Mr. Bush and believe that he has done good things for the country. I know many people don't like him but his aggressive attacks against the forces of evil that would destroy our country including Iraq(NOT the people of Iraq, I feel really bad for them and wish that God will make their lives better and safer) make me respect him. I plan to enlist with my boyfriend after graduation this June and want to do my part too even though I would prefer just being a good wife and mother and marrying my Special Boy.

One thing I don't like about Mr. Bush is his constant lying. I think this has gotten him in big trouble, it's wrong to lie.
