I fully support ALL of our troops. While I may not agree with their lifestyle...I will fully support them in the same way I support "straight" troops.
It is not for me to judge what others do. What my beliefs are...are just that...MINE.

Have you ever seen two Gays fight?
I say send them to the Front and the war will be over in a few weeks! LOL
Actually; there has always been Gays in the services and they have not only served with honor but with distinction.
They Should be allowed to serve openly and freely as other first class Militaries do around the world.
We Americans need to stop being so Homophobe!

I absolutely do not support this action. I have been there and done that and I can tell you, first hand, how demoralizing this is for the majority of troops. even when they don't know who is and is not a homosexual. Unfortunately, under these conditions, everyone is suspect.
What is even worse, is when one is outed ! His life is not worth a plug nickel once his presence is known. It must be
mandatory that he be transferred before someone decides to
do in his sorry @ss, because his life is defineately in danger.
If you believe this thinking is unfair, it's for one of two reasons: 1) You are a homosexual and believe your peers are being unfairly treated. 2) You have never served in military service and have no idea the disruption this problem can cause.
In either case, you aren't entitled to an opinion, because: 1) You and your peers have no business in being part of the armed services, or 2) Until you've been there and done that, you have no idea of what it is like, and should therefore keep your mouth shut, because you have no solution to the problem.

I support all of our troops, whether in Iraq, Afganistan, anywhere abroad or at home. However, the military has a policy of we will not ask your sexual orientation and it is the military member's responsibility to keep it private, no matter what that sexual orientation may be. This is to keep personal affairs from interferring with unit cohesiveness, something most people do not understand unless they have served.
I have served with people I know were not heterosexual, but it is not something that you discuss. If you can't keep that part of your life private, then the military can and will separate you from service.

All the troops in Iraq serve without honor. They follow unlawful orders based upon forged documents from Niger, Colin Powell's lies at the U.N. about roving bio-labs & the like...
G. W. Bush lied to the People & to the Congress to start this war, & the troops there are nothing more than "oil pipeline guards" reguardless of what they think they are doing, they are not getting anything done besides guarding Haliburton's oil & gas pipelines. Don't even think for one second that they are fighting for my or anyone elses freedom !!! Just free oil pipeline guards for Haliburton, that is all we get for the billions spent, & the military won't even give proper medical care to their own... you call that honor ???

i support troops period, if they are gay they are wrong and need to tell on themselves, the military doesn't allow homos and they wouldn't be serving honorably if you get down to it, they are serving illegally because its forbidden in the armed forces and they are breaking the Uniformed Code of Military Justice by doing so.

I will answer "indirectly".
When planning reunions for our Vietnam infantry and 101st Airborne reunions and such in the late 1980's we discovered a few guys had "AIDS:.
Guess what?
Not one man said anything but, invite, help him attend the reunion.
Not one voiced any disapproval.
But we were "A band of Brothers"
the rest of these people can "get a life", move on, march out, etc.
Read watch Henry V by Shakespeare.
"We few, we happy few"
Soldiers are "Brothers", now today :Brothers and Sisters",
but every fool has the right to post what they feel.
After combat one "feels" differently.

As long as they don't touch me or get me killed I have no problem with gay people serving. One of the best sergeants I ever knew was a lesbian.
