Walter Reed is crumbling down.
Meanwhile, medical tourism is a growing industry.
There are first class, fully accredited hospitals in India and Thailand that provide better care for less money. (a fraction of the cost) That's why medical tourism is growing and will continue to do so.
I think if I were an injured veteran I would want my choice of where I went for medical care.
Shouldn't soldiers have a choice where they go for treatment.
Isn't having choices for medical care one of the points politicians always make when talking about healthcare?

When asked possibly in the near future under subpeona to have members of the DOJ tesitfy to questions about the firing of Federal Prosecutors Mr. Bush replied "Not under oath"

WHY?

How much more evidence do citizens need to realize this administration feels they are above the laws of the land that they are supposed to uphold!?!?!?!?!
Only a person afraid of perjury would refuse to answer questions under oath!

Is this the kind of people the United States of America needs or wants running our government?

I just came across this article that a friend printed out for me. It's about a statement the Australian Prime Minister and Treasuer made a while back! I'm gonna make dozens of copies and hand them out at work, and e-mail this link to everyone! This is what our American leaders NEED to say and do!!

Where is your sense of humor? Everyday I read YA Liberals beating up on Bush, neocons, Christians, soldiers, and yet when they're stereotyped they fall apart. What's up?

Are you the same people who are eager to start a new war with Iran?

I'm curious because if you are I don't understand how you are so humanitarian when it comes to one country but can't wait to bomb the crap out of another.

If this doesn't apply to you, then you get a pass.

I keep reading about how some American men kill or beat women and children getting away with very light sentences while the other "men" simply cry about it doing nothing. What makes American men so weak and soft? And how can one make a "man" out of an American male? Is this possible?

Obviously there will be the routine contributors of flak and chaff but that's the penalty of a public forum.

Is there anyone else interested in taking up the challenge?

If you are, please explain how you can possibly think that is a good idea, and why you would want to undermine an absolutely critical tenet of the Constitution.
