Walter Reed is crumbling down.
Meanwhile, medical tourism is a growing industry.
There are first class, fully accredited hospitals in India and Thailand that provide better care for less money. (a fraction of the cost) That's why medical tourism is growing and will continue to do so.
I think if I were an injured veteran I would want my choice of where I went for medical care.
Shouldn't soldiers have a choice where they go for treatment.
Isn't having choices for medical care one of the points politicians always make when talking about healthcare?

Do you honestly think the US government is going to fly a bunch of wounded veterans to Thailand?!

I guess if the veteran can afford the airfare and medical bills they can do whatever they want. The government won't change how they treat our veterans, and that's a Godd*amn shame.

Are you high? WRAMC isnt crumbling down.

The problem was in Malogne House(bldg.18) a dormitory outside WRAMC proper. The Hospital Bldg itself is better than damn near every single civilian Hospital I've ever seen.

This question really is ludicris
