I keep reading about how some American men kill or beat women and children getting away with very light sentences while the other "men" simply cry about it doing nothing. What makes American men so weak and soft? And how can one make a "man" out of an American male? Is this possible?

There are a number of dynamics involved with American men. First of all, there has been a feminization of American in general. Strong male role models are not acceptable. Examples of strong males of the past were John Wayne, Robert Mitchum etc... The new Metro-sexual male is a beauty parlor man who has been completely feminized to the point of getting facials and manicures. Also, many males are brought up single moms and no male role models. This also presents problems including a predisposition to becoming homosexual and more feminized. There is nothing good about feminization and lack of male influences. The break down of the family unit has led directly to the break down of the male. Lack of male role models and resulting disciplines have created men who beat up women and children. I'm not aware of light sentences for these horrendous crimes. But society drives feminine qualities and discourages masculinity.

What you're talking about has nothing to do with these men being american or not. Plenty of men from all over the globe and with different ethnic backgrounds beat women and children. In fact, you might be surprised knowing just how many countries actually promote that kind of behavior.
And about the "men" crying and not doing nothing about it... are you suggesting some sort of physical retaliation? There is a legal system in place to handle this kind of barbaric behavior. It might not be perfect, but it is within the law. We cannot promote criminal mobs to go about beating and / or killing people for any offense - no matter how grave it may be. it's just not right.

Are you saying that American men are the only men who beat their wives??? If so, you need to do some serious reading, and stop watching the evening news!! On top of that, your generalization of including all American men when your speaking about a small percentage of population is an insult!!! You need to explore what goes on in Arab harems, How women in socialist country's are treated and viewed. You need to examine the role of women in the history of Oriental societies. Cuz cousin, you don't have a clue!!!!

I'm pretty sure men in other countries do the same thing.
FYI, there are plenty of American men I know who I would consider very honorable.

We are not soft we are actually systematically vicious. A capitalistic system with too many laws and too much buddy-buddy stuff. Vigilantie activity is not tolerated, condoned, or encouraged by civilzed people. If my neighboor beats his wife and I kill him, I go to jail for murder. That does my family no good at all.

I keep reading about how Arab men insist that their women wear shrouds when they exit the house and they have to be escorted by thugs. Why is it that Arab men are so morally weak? Is it that you are not really men, but simply male? Pigs have male gender too...

Pathetic, aren't we? If we were real men we would be strapping bombs to our women and children and killing innocents for no apparent reason other than to attempt to prove our god is the one true loving and compassionate creator.

look how much the woman has over you there.. all she has to do is get pregnant and she has you paying her for the next however many years..
or if you dont have kids and get divorced you still have to pay her.. wtf is that? i never understood that, i mean she can get a job too!
you all just need to get your balls back. toughen up princesses. have some authority over your family, not in a scary beating up way but in a calm, controlled way

It is a problem with the legal system. Even if a guy stands up for you, he risks being taken to jail for assault if the girl doesn't press charges against her abuser, (which we all know most of them will not).
