As for your question , I'm liberal about more than I'm conservative about & I usually RESPECT the "loyal opposition"....when they show they deserve it!!

I don't know if he posts here on YA, but there is a guy I know from the old message boards who is a conservative republican and has an opposing view from mine on most issues but we have a lot of respect and admiration for each other. We used to lock heads on things but we got over that and can agree to disagree and admit when the other had a valid point.
In fact, I need to email him and see if he'll post here.

BTW, I wouldn't say friends, that implies I have meet them, had beer, and talked about the kids and shoot the s**t. But I do have friends and most of my relatives are of the opposing party.

My Brother,(of all People) is not only a Liberal? But he's a Back-Slider. Use to walk with The Kings. Now, gets through life as "one of them". But I still care about him. Besides, he's a Yankee Fan too. We do have our Battles.

I have several friends who are libs. On Y/A I dont know any well enough yet to say they are friends but I respect a few at least.

Don't know cuz I don't ask because it's really none of anyones business unless I open my mouth and decide it to be. Plus it's not really good for a friendship...it breaks things apart from what they are.
